In a place
Far from the cities and towns we know
A dwelling resides
Resurrected from the fields, allowed to grow
Carved by a meticulous hand
Therein lives a woman
Of pure heart and warm soul
A woman who loves in the most intimate of ways
Without craving the lust of man
A feminine entity, the keeper of her home
She lives alongside a person
Of fae lineage, of elven land
A kin of the earth
Not woman nor man
The call of nature abiding by their word
In peace they live
A harmony created by the bindings of their love
An unadulterated longing
They wear upon their sleeves
Like the finest woven silk
Two broken people slowly mend each other
And like the yearning of the sleepless
To gaze upon the moon
They each yearn for their partner alike
A completion they never thought achievable
