"I just- I never knew." Richie tells the lunch table about what Eddie confessed the weekend prior.

Eddie removed himself from the lunch table, sitting alone in the library.

"I feel bad, I do. I mean, I- I liked him before Connor. I really did. And then Connor came along and I just- I don't know why I said yes when I still liked Eddie. But that doesn't matter now, because me and Connor are soulmates. I understand why Eddie doesn't wanna see me, but I'm losing my best friend. I lost him." Richie continues.

"It'll t-take time. I think a-after awhile, Eddie w-will wanna s-see you again." Bill explains.

"Yeah, if you're not meant to be soulmates, then he just needs time to accept that, then I'm sure you can be friends again. Eddies not the type to drop you forever. He cares about you a lot, as a friend or not." Stan adds.

Richie nods and stands up, "Connor wants to meet me so- I'll see you guys later. Thanks."

After Richie walks away the remaining losers exchange looks.

"I'm just gonna say what we're all thinking." Mike starts. "Somethings up."

"Definitely." Bev agrees. Ben nods along with Stan.

"W-what? What's going on?" Bill asks, confused. The rest laugh a little.

"I feel like Connor did something. I can tell Richie still has feelings for Eddie, and why would he if Connor is his soulmate. And he hasn't been happy since finding out Connor got the same color. Correct me if I'm wrong, but that's not soulmate behavior." Bev rants.

"That's what I was thinking, but what does it mean from there? Did Connor do something fishy?" Ben asks.

"He could've faked the color, or maybe the colors are just super close together, Richie hasn't said anything about Connor getting his color scanned to figure out his number." Stan adds.

"How w-would he fake it? Paint?" Bill asks.

"I'm sure he could find anything to work." Mike replies.

"Maybe I should talk to Richie about it..." Bev thinks out loud.
