"Allyson." Stacey waves her hand in front of my pale face as I put my hair off of my shoulder.

"I'm here," I smile and continue walking the aisle of the movie theatre. We buy some popcorn and I receive a wink from the underage guy working at the cinema. Great.

"Well, it doesn't seem like it. You pretend everything's fine and everything but you've been dazing out here and there the last 2 months." She blurts out and stares at me. Daze out? I haven't even noticed that I daze out a lot. I put a strand behind my ear and shrug my shoulders as a sign of I don't have a clue what you're referring to.

I actually feel happy and reckless as if nothing could go wrong.

"Evertyhing is fine." I say before we sit down and wait for the movie to begin. I don't even get the movie, I mean I'm watching it but I don't seem to get ahold of it. It's like I'm staring into a blank space.

...

We finally walk out of the movie theatre. Seriously it was like a torture. "Hey, what do you say, we go and grab some dinner?" Stacey pokes me and chuckles. She really did enjoy that movie.

"Well, if you want to." I murmur and a rain drop touches my nose, making me look up at the darkening, grey sky.

"Do you want to?"

"If you want to."

"I asked if you want to come to grab dinner with me, not that if I myself wanted to."

I stare at her.

"I can't stand you, Allyson."

"You don't have to stand, there's a chair right there." I point at the nearest chair and I receive a hit from my best friend that surely hurt like hell. As surprised as I am, Stacey actually sits down and gestures for me to do so. "Listen, I know you're hurt, since the incident with Harry and all. And, I know that you still have feelings for him."

"I don't have feel-"

"I know that you have feelings for Harry. Just playing with me, okay? And, now you're thinking how I know? Because I know you. That's why." She speaks out and have a death serious look as she locks her eyes with mine. I try to avoid it.

"It's not what you think. I mean, everything's fine. I just thought..."

"You thought what? You can tell me Ally. If you can't tell me your deepest secrets then who? I'm always there for you, you should know that by now. You can always cry on my shoulder, well, erm expect when I'm wearing gucci." She chuckle and wipes away my tear that rolls on my cheek. I nod and close my eyes as my tears gets mixed with the heavy rain. I've been holding on my tears for the last 2 months and yet it didn't help at all. My heart has been silently crying, so silently that even my mind couldn't hear it. Somehow, Stacey knew. She just knew. I'm happy to have her right by my side.

A text message that she receives changes her whole mood. I don't ask her about it at all.

"What do you say that we go?" Stacey talks.

"I want to stay for a little while, okay?"

"But, I seriously gotta go, my uncle just came and I'm sorry-"

"listen, it's okay really. Just go, you've done more than enough for the last 2 months. It's okay, I just want to enjoy the rain. I feel like it washes everything away with it."

"Okay, but please don't stay for too long so you won't get cold, okay?"

"Okay. " I hug Stacey and watch as she hops on the first buss that goes by.

Seriously, what am I even doing. I sit here waiting, for I don't even know what, but it feels calm to just sit and listen to the sound of the heavy rain. I'm happy that I'm wearing waterproof mascara, at least I won't look like a zombie like most of the girls would by now. The things I worry about, seriously. I laugh at myself and shake my head.

"Miss, could I join you? You seem to be having a great time. I take a look at this young voice that happens to be sitting right beside me. I didn't even notice anyone sitting right beside me, because I was so lost in my own thoughts.

"I just thought about some stupid stuff and it made me smile." I respond and take a great look at him. Oh my, he was beautiful. Not the Harry kind of beautiful, but he was beautiful all right. He had these marvelous hazel eyes that had it's shine even in the rain.

"You can tell me, see I have time, I'm waiting on a buss that goes by at seven since it's only 6 p.m." An hour waiting for a buss? He must be waiting for a long distance buss.

"Where you're headed to?" I ask the handsome stranger. Usually I wouldn't be this chatty with someone I don't know but now, I really don't care. It's like I have a seed of a rebel inside of me and it seems to be growing day by day.

"San Francisco." That far?

"It's like 7 hours from here?" My eyes pop out at this mystery man.

"Well, actually 14 hours. I have to come back as soon as I've handled a certain thing there."

"Oh."

"So, tell me about this stupid stuff you were thinking about?"

"I already forgot." I smile.

"Well, then it's a shame. I'm Shawn." He shakes my hand. How could it be this warm even if the weather has turned mine so cold.

"I'm Allyson. But, you can call me Ally." I receive a smirk from Shawn as I pull my hand away carefully from his warm hand.

Who is this guy and why do I feel attracted to him? I seriously never seemed to have this feeling in me, but since Harry everything has changed. He brings his lips close to mine and stars kissing my upper lip. I don't know what has got into me but I locked my lips with his. This feeling, it's not the same I get from Harry but it's close enough. I think it could make me forget about him for a while. Shawn grabs my waist as he deepens the kiss and I don't even seem to care about the few stares we're getting.

"Listen why don't you come with me? I'm only staying for a night there, I'd love some company." He breaks the kiss and I finally breathe. What do I have to lose? If he tries to rape me then I could just use the knife I'm carrying in my bag. At least it be in a good use. And my parents? well, they can suck it up.

But no, I can't be that stupid.

"I can't."

"Why? Your parents-"

"No, it's not that. I just have school and-"

"I know, I have school, too, you know, but tomorrow's saturday though."

I take a look at him, what could go wrong? It's just a night.

"You know what?"

I Guess desperate times call for desperate measures.

He smiles as he knows where I'm headed.

"I'll come, in hopes of a better weather in San francisco."
