Behind Closed Doors

Chapter 1

It was the day before Thanksgiving break. Everyone was anxious to go home and relax. I on the other hand was dreading this day. My family and I were to go on a road trip to Maine very early in the morning to see my Aunt Hilda. We haven't seen her since summer so it would be nice to catch up on things. Don't get me wrong here. I love my aunt very much, it's just that, I don't want to spend at least 12 hours in a car with my grandmother, dad, mom, and brother. It would be hell like always.

It was nearing towards the end of the school day. As I lazily gathered my things for my next class, my crush caught my eye. He had the most gorgeous blue eyes I've ever seen on a person. His light blonde hair went perfectly with his light skin. His smile was so perfect and his body structure was amazing. His name is Koda Bayler. I've known him since 7th grade, when he started dating my friend Ashleigh. They did however break up after about 2 months or so.

We had become good friends and over time we became very close. But I always wanted us to become more than friends.

Koda noticed I was looking at him and yelled "Kanji, I know I'm sexy but you don't need to stare!" I was blushing and I yelled back "Oh please! The only sexy person here is me and everyone knows it!" He was walking up to me and proceeded to hug me. It was almost magical. His hugs were incredible, not to mention he smells amazing!

"Well I have to admit you are pretty damn fine" He said, winking at me. I couldn't help but blush. I awkwardly replied with "Oh c'mon you're not too bad yourself! Any girl would be lucky to have you!"

He said, with the cutest little smirk ever, "Well, any guy would kill for a gal like you! Smart, beautiful, caring, not to mention extremely talented."

This was kind of true. I was quite handy with the piano, clarinet, trombone, guitar, drums, and bass. I also sing. "Aww you little sweetie pie! And this is why I love you Koda!" I went for another hug, but instead he went for a headlock.

"KODA LET ME GO!" I yelled in slight pain, for he was quite muscular. "KODA, YOUR HURTING ME!" Koda replied with "HAHA THAT'S WHAT SHE SAID!" It was crazy how I could still like him.

He put me in pain almost everyday, physically and emotionally. Physically from the horsing around that happens all the time, and emotionally from all the girls he dates that don't treat him right. But he bounces back quickly and moves on! Why can't he see that I can treat him right?

There I was again daydreaming, when suddenly, I feel strong arms wrap around my waist lifting me up.

"KODA PUT ME DOWN!" I squeal, letting out a little giggle. In his sexy, raspy voice, he says "Not till you admit that I'm incredibly sexy, that you love me, and that I'm amazing!"

"Koda, you're INCREDIBLY sexy, and I love you SO much. And you're just so amazing!" He put me down from his shoulder, looked into my eyes, and smiled. At that moment the bell had rung.
