Chapter 14

"Hey babe!" Koda yelled, sounding very happy.

"Hey Koda." I said blandly, yet also quite nervously for some reason.

"How was the trip? Are you at your Aunt's house yet?"

"Haha yeah we got here about an hour ago, and the trip was good."

"Well that's good. . . Listen babe I have something to ask you." He sounded kind of worried about asking, like he knew it would make me mad.

"Um yeah but can it wait? My Aunt just set up dinner so I'll text you later okay? I love you."

He sighed. "Yeah I guess. I love you too babe."

It made me smile when called me 'babe' again. I guess I was just happy that now he's saying it to me and not Dani. I hope make him happy too.

"Kanji! Come up and eat!" My mom yelled from the kitchen.

"I'm coming! Don't get your panties in a twist." I said, annoyed.

I walked to the kitchen, grabbed my plate and sat down on the couch.

"Kanji, at least join us at the table for once? Just pretend you like us for tonight?" My mom practically begged.

I grunted. "Alright alright I'll be with you guys, damn." I whispered the last part because I knew she would flip of she heard me say that.

I got up from the couch and made my way to the kitchen table. Everyone except Brandon, my Tio, and dad were there. The "men" of the family decided to eat out on the porch.

"Sit next to me Kanji!" Ella said, jumping up and down in her seat.

"No sit by me!" André said, trying to sound more demanding.

They began arguing for a while and I just stood there laughing.

"Guys, I can sit next to both of you." I said, finally stopping the disputation of children haha.

"How?!" Both simultaneously said.

"Look," I started shifting around chairs and placing the kids how I wanted them. "There, now Ella can sit on my right, and André can sit on my left. Now you both are next to me!" I smiled at them.

"Alright!" André fist bumped me.

"Yay!" Ella clapped her hands.

Now that everything was settled, we all started eating. My aunt, grandma, and mom made refried beans, tortillas, rice, chicken, and salad. It all turned out really good. But the whole time I kept thinking of the whole Koda/Zach thing.

Like, I'm not a cheater, am I? Because I wasn't with Koda when I kissed Zach. And besides, Zach was just one of those "I only kissed you because I was
vulnerable" kind of guys. It's not like I have feelings for him. . . Or do I?

"Kanji!" Ella yelled.

"Yeah El?"

"Lets go to my room! I wanna show you what I drew!" She seemed super eager to show me so I just agreed to go.

"Sure lets go!" I smiled.

We stood up from the dinner table and she grabbed my hand so she could lead me to her room. She's so small so I had to crouch down a little when she started running.

"Look!" She found her little sketchbook and coloring book to show me literally everything.

"Wow El, that's so cool! I wish I could draw like that."

"Yeah it took me like ten minutes to draw this!" She pulled out a tiger from her coloring book. I was about to correct and say she didn't drew it, just colored it, but I didn't wanna make her sad.

"Woah that's awesome! You're such a good drawer!" Talking to her and making her happy was making me happy as well. Kids seem to have that effect on me haha.

"I'm going to draw some more, if you want to you can draw with me!"

"Yeah that'd be fun! But I have to make a phone call really quick okay? I'll come back in a little bit."

"Awh okay, but please come back!" Ella made a little pouty face, it was the cutest thing ever.

I went back to the room I'm staying in and called Koda. He didn't answer me though, so I decided to call again. He didn't answer me. I waited about ten minutes to call, when suddenly he texts me.

The text read: "Hey baby, I'm so sorry I didn't answer. Was busy with dad. Please text back?"

I shook my head and just giggled. He's such a cute little idiot.

I replied to him by saying "hey it's totally okay! :) family always come fist! So what's up?"

He immediately texted back. He said "haha they sure do. And just jacking off now, wbu? ;)"

I laughed so hard when I read that. Like what the heck?! "Are you seriously jacking off?! LMAO!"

"Hahaha maybe ;) wanna see?"

"Umm. . . No thanks lol."

"Lol okay, sorry so what are you doing?"

"Just got done playing with my baby cousin haha."

"Awh the little chubby one? She's such a cutie."

"Yeah Ella! She was showing off her drawings to me, it was so cute lol.l

"Haha yeah. Can I ask you something?"

I started to get a little nervous. What if Britney told him what happened with Zach? What if he found out about Dani at the cafe/restaurant?

"Yeah sure, ask away!"

It took him a little to reply. He probably was confused on how to word the question.

"So. . . I was wondering. . . Would you have sex with me?

My eyes widened when I read the text. What the actual fuck Koda?!

"Umm. . . Idk aha why?"

"Oh it's cuz I had a dream about that last night, you looked really good naked ;)"

"Haha thanks I guess?"

"Anytime gorgeous, now for the question #2"

"Shoot me"

"Would you ever send me a nude?"

Okay now I'm just getting a little annoyed here, but they're just questions after all.

"I might, if you're trustworthy enough haha."

"C'mon K, you know I'm trustworthy! You've told me so many secrets and I still haven't told anyone, not even Britney!"

This was true, I knew he was completely trustworthy of basically everything. But I'm still not sure about the nudes.

"Yeah true true! I'll think about it okay? In the meantime, ima go play with Ella again! Ttyl byyyee I love you!"

"I love you too baby, have fun :)"

I put my phone to charge and went to Ella's room. She smiled when she saw me and passed me a spare coloring book and some markers.

"Now I can teach you how to draw! She said, practically screaming.

"Haha yeah it'll be cool!"

We began to color together. It was a cute little bonding experience, but I was too focused on what I was going to do about what Koda asked me.

Should I send them? After all, he's my boyfriend now and I have to trust him. . . Right?
