CHAPTER - 4

Six months passed by as Joshua embarked on the journey of settling into his life in South Korea. The transition, although initially challenging, begin to take shape as he adapted to a new chapter in his life.

Kim Seokjin the current CEO of Kim groups, the reason why Joshua moved back to Seoul. Kim groups ruled by the three brothers Seokjin, Namjoon and Taehyung, had influence over the whole world. Being filthy rich, the brothers came with bad side in society and had lot of cases but one of their case seemed impossible to win over as it continued for three long years and was becoming pain for them. After suggestion from the youngest Kim, Seokjin contacted Joshua to take hand over of said case. Joshua being a childhood friend of Taehyung somehow accepted the case even after knowing the critical situation regarding case.

Joshua's legal reputation reached new heights as he undertook the challenge of unravelling the enigma surrounding the Kim group's unsolved case. Joshua's determination and sharp intellect proved to be the key to unlocking the truth.

It even became easier for Joshua to keep track of his wife and daughter as he completely set his roots into legal world giving him time to spend with his family. His relation with Isabella started to worsen day by day as Isabella felt like losing her freedom to act reckless like back in LA due to influence of Joshua in Korean society. Jia started accepting new environment happily still looking at the broken relationship between her father and mother.

Y/N POV –

It was your first month working at the Jeon Enterprises as intern in design team. It was quite hectic because the seniors made you do all the unnecessary tasks apart from your actual work. Even some asked you to bring coffee for them. You felt like you were again working as the waitress in the last club but you didn't complained about this internship. There were two main reasons, it was paying you more than your last job plus you'll be provided with experience letter at the end of it and even being an intern at Jeon enterprises meant a lot in market.

Being a second year student you were thankful for your current job. You had to pay for your college and tuitions. This was another day at work and you were too much busy, actually everyone was busy as major product deployment was scheduled for next week. You headed straight at work after college, time passed fast and suddenly some manager which you don't even know belongs to which department ordered you to make copy of some project estimates immediately. You were handed with around four to five thick files and now you were stuck in printing room in front of Xerox machine. Your chubby legs start to hurt because of the stupid heel. Hours later you finished with making copies and you headed out look for the earlier manager. After handing him the copies you started returning to your desk when you heard a voice calling you 'Intern Choi'

You turned to notice the source of the voice calling you, it was PA of Mr. Jeon. He came toward you quit fast and handed another file in your empty hands.
