CHAPTER - 14

Y/N POV -

The silent treatment from Joshua continued again, he didn't contact you or visited you. This time you didn't tried to contact him. You were busy with your exams. You consumed your most of the time doing study, you barely got time to invest your energy in other things while managing your work and study. At the end of the day you became tired due to whole hustle and mostly slept on the study table, so it wasn't hard for you to ignore Joshua.

You were hurt deeply due to his behavior last time. At the start of this relationship, you both decided some rules. You always followed all the rules, no doubt Joshua followed them too but last time he crossed his limits. You both decided earlier that using safe word should stop whatever extreme you're doing during sexual activities, but Joshua was bit harsh about it last time. He even tried to shut you up when you clearly used safe word. You knew this was the first time he did something like that, but it was hurtful. Joshua was a gentleman who really cared for you through and through but there were some moments where he would make you feel worthless. His mocking and taunts go to extreme limits where you feel like crying. He used to serve his mean behavior as much as his gentle behavior which was unbearable for you. So, you were upset about his action that night. Why he even told you to use safe word when you feel things getting out of your tolerance when he was just going to push you more into it. You were more upset because that night you lost your daisy bracelet which you found later on but you were still sore about it.

You didn't even realize and almost a month passed after it, no information of Joshua at all. Your exams were over, and you were doing well at your new job. As you got more free time nowadays you started missing Joshua, but you weren't going to approach him.

You were getting ready for Job when doorbell ringed, you opened door just to see Eunji standing outside. You looked concerned seeing her that early in your doorstep.

"Eunji, what brings you here today so early? Come in." you inquired.

Eunji came inside and explained you, her situation. She had her doctor appointment for pregnancy check-ups and Jeonghan told her to deliver some important papers to Joshua at the main house. For which she needed your help. You weren't much pleased, but you couldn't even say no to her, she was pregnant and sure her check-ups were more important than your problems. So, you said yes to her.

It was still early but you had to go to work, so you hurried to Main house of Hong. You never visited the main house before. You drove to the address given by Eunji. You were in awe looking at the main house. Why all these peoples were so rich you thought stopping for a minute. The main house of Hong was huge yet cozy. Unlike Yoon Mansion with traditional Korean architecture Main house of Hong have accents of western styling in architecture. The little pond of clear water with beautiful fountain in the middle of well-maintained garden attracted you most. The water was clear with some colorful fish in it. You kept walking until you noticed a small girl playing in the garden. You immediately recognized her as Jia. Joshua mentioned her so many times and her description was so on point by him that it didn't took much time to spot the kid.

You smiled looking at the mini version of Joshua in front of you. The same doe eyes and uniquely shaped pink lips like were completely identical to Joshua. Her skin was pale with rosy cheeks and few faint freckles, her hairs were blonde with slight natural curls which were shining like gold under morning rays giving her beauty touch of western looks. You walked toward her smiling.
