Awakening

I was still up, not as effected by taking an all-nighter since I did this often for work. Celty woke up before Shinra, coming out to make us breakfast. Did dullahuns even sleep? I honestly had no clue. I'd have to get some information on that. Shinra woke up a little later, checking up on Shizuo before anything else. I sat anxiously and prepared to call Namie after he told me how he was.
"It seems that without his strength, the drug will take slightly longer to wear off. Well, longer than it should for him, but a normal time period for anyone else. He should actually wake up very soon. I also have the results of the spinal tap and blood tests. He was drugged, as I first thought." He pulled a sheet of paper from his clipboard. "He'll need to be properly looked after, and brought here once a week so I may check on his progress. At the moment, I have nothing to help flush the drug from his system." I gave him the most annoyed look ever. He was a doctor for fuck's sake, he should have this stuff. I realised how childish I sounded.
'The real problem is finding out who drugged him, and why. What does he plan to do?' Celty typed out and showed the both of us. She held a very good point.
"Could it possibly be my boss?" I asked. Shiki could easily do this. It would seem proper, too, since Shizuo was the only thing to keep me from doing my work, and from him beating me up. I almost forgot about the man.
"It could also be that new gang, Red Moon." Shinra chirped, collecting any tools from last night. They had slipped my mind as well.
"Shinra, I want an analysis of the drug. Find out what it is. I'll handle the rest from there...~" I purred, flipping my phone open. I pulled up Namie's number and dialed, waiting for the call to connect. A few minutes later Namie was growling in my ear,
'Why the hell did you wake me up at six in the morning?!' She growled, and I smirked.
"I wanted to see how my dear secretary and Mio-Chan are." I felt joy in my chest that they were okay. I had been anxious to much to sleep, sure that something was wrong.
'We're fine, now when the hell are ya' gonna be back? I can't babysit forever you know.' She sighed, and I chuckled.
"I'll be back around lunch, make sure you prepare my Shizu-Chan a healthy and delicious meal!~"
'Oh yeh, what is goin on with-' I hung up, not wanting to deal with explaining now.

   ~Shizuo's POV~

I groaned, holding my back as I sat up. It hurt like hell. I remembered Shinra gassing me before for... a spinal tap I think?
"Shinra! What the hell did you do to me while I was out?!" I growled, and I felt a huge weight fall on my side, dragging me back to the couch.
"Shizu-Chan!" Izaya cried, kissing my face all over. He was like an over excited child.
"Izaya, what are ya' doin' here?" I grumbled, kissing him back. He nuzzled his head into my chest, purring.
"I was coming to get a refill of your prescriptions, but then I walked in to find Shinra knocking you out." He giggled, and Shinra walked in at the commotion.
"You should have seen his reaction, I thought I was dead for sure!" He nervously chuckled, and I grinned. I ran my hand through his hair as my chest vibrated with laughter.
"That's my Izaya-Kun" I chuckled, his face burrowing into my neck in response.

"So it's an andestrophalimine?" Izaya asked, taking the drug analysis from Shinra. (A/N- Not a real drug, I made it up. If it is the name of a drug, well... holly shit I'll be psychic :3)
"Yep! It's more often used for large animals by poachers. It's supposed to render them immobile and keep them from moving, but it didn't effect Shizuo that way because the part of his brain that controls his muscles is much, much stronger than an elephant's or bear's." Shinra chuckled, giving Izaya a bag filled with bottles of pills for me.
"I know it's a lot, but well, this is a tough drug. Make sure you guys watch out, whoever did this could be after you soon." He cautioned, clicking his tongue.
"Okay Shinra, bye Shinra, see you later Shinra!" Izaya pulled me out of the house, a chuckle escaping his lips. I remained silent, not exactly sure what I would say if I were to start a conversation. Or if the police caught us prancing about with a bag of illegal drugs...
