(A/N- Gomen, I have poor knowledge of how Masaomi and Mikado act, since I've only read the first manga. I'm obsessed with Shizaya so I know tons about those two HAHAHAHA
Enjoy, doll!)

"Hey Masaomi? Is it just me or has Ikebukuro been super quiet?" I shyly asked, looking towards the strawberry blonde. He gave a grin and lifted his index finger, as if to scold me for something.
"Why Mikado, haven't you heard? Shizuo Heiwajima and Izaya Orihara are dating now!" Masaomi turned forward once more and clasped his hands behind his head, as if lounging in a chair.
"Eh heh... your jokes are getting better and better, Masaomi!" I gave a small laugh as I looked about. He gave an annoyed pout, slouching over.
"No joke! Erika and Kadota said it themselves! They even have a daughter!"
"Wh-what?! I thought guys couldn't- could- you know... reproduce...?" I bowed my head slightly and looked to him, watching as he laughed.
   "No, baka. They adopted!"
"Oh..." I had noticed that the two had not been around lately. But what sane orthanage would let them adopt a child? "How about we go and say congrats... or something?" I dragged away from the subject as I sawnhim frown, remembering his severe dislike for the raven haired informant. "I mean I really also wanna see their new kid! That would be pretty, um... cool..." Masaomi sighed and seemed to ponder over it a bit. His eyes were closed as I frantically tried to make sure he didn't walk into a pole again; he had only just got over the humiliation from last time.
"I guess we could... but we don't have to bring some stupid 'congrats' present or something, right...?" I shook my head and dragged him to Izaya's apartment. They would live there, right?

Masaomi gave a rhythmic knock, eyes half-lidded in discontent. There was a little squeak and shuffle from behind the door before Izaya opened it, his hair ruffled and batter staining his... pink... apron. What?
"Ah, it's the air conditioner and the scarf. What do you need?~" He chuckled as I gave a small whine.
"The brand's Kirigamine..." I sighed as Izays ushered us in. He had a small smirk.
"Yeh, yeh. Whatever. Wait a minute! I'll be right back with Shizu-Chan! I need to finish dinner!" We sat on the couch as she skipped off, Masaomi staring at his pink apron the whole time. A few seconds later he helped Shizuo into the living room, the ex-bartender holding a hand on his lower back as he shuffled in. Me and Masaomi watched with confusion as he grunted, lowering himself onto the couch. Izaya made his way back to the kitchen, humming a catchy tune.
"Hello H-Heiwajima-San!" I squeaked, giving a low bow. I accidentally hit my head on the table and quickly sat up, rubbing the growing goose egg on my forehead. Masaomi followed suit, giving a less polite bow as he simply ducked his head. Shizuo grunted before there was a squeal from the hall way.
"Come back here Shizuka!" The child shrilled, chasing a dusty brown cat down the stairs. I watched with wide eyes as the cat scurried onto Shizuo's lap, snuggling into his shirt. The girl stopped once seeing us, jumping up and down in excitement. "Mommy, daddy, we have visitors!" She giggled, Shizuo giving a chuckle as he tugged her into his lap.
   What was going on?
Masaomi seemed confused as well, his jaw practically reaching his knees as he watched, mouth agape.
"Who are the creepy men?" She asked, looking up to Shizuo. I gave a strangled yelp as I almost fell off the couch. We were creepy?! She lived with Shizuo and Izaya!
"That was rude, Mioku... I told you not to call the visitors creepy. And these boys are Mikanto and Masabi..?" I gave a nervous chuckle as Masaomi scratched the back of his neck.
"Mikado and Masaomi!" Izaya shouted back. Shizuo gave a small 'oh.'
"Well um, we should be going soon but, we wanted to come by real quick and say congrats!" Masaomi popped out, his golden eyes shining with a mix of amusement and discomfort. I nodded in agreement.
"Oh well, um, thanks... thank you!" Shizuo bowed, suprise over his face. Mioku looked up to him before bowing as well, a small smile spreading over her face.
Masaomi held his fist up towards Mioku, who sat a moment before pressing her own balled up fist against his, her grin stretching to both ears. We bid our farewells to them before hurrying out, going off about what we just bare witness to.

Shizuo's POV~

"I'm still fucking sore from last night, Izaya." I groaned, laying on the bed as he sat up next to me, reading a document. He had his reading glasses on, which I thought made him look rather cute and, dare I say it, sexy.
"I wasn't lying when I said I would make it so you couldn't walk for days, Shizu-Chan." He purred, giving me a smirk. Oh god that was cute.

(A/N- hehehee, sorry if it's short)
