"Hell is empty and all the devils are here." - William Shakespeare

The world was ending with a bang.

All of Beacon shook violently with every thunderous crash of the heavens, the very world rumbled as twin devils collided. Two beings who had reached the pinnacle of what the mortal world had to offer, and were now on the precipice of the divine.

Only one would live to reach that place.

Weiss' face was of permanent ecstasy as she blasted forward at light speeds, drawing Myrtenaster and letting it glow with otherworldly power. Her entire being was flooded with the will of the Hōgyoku as a light blue aura surrounded her entire body. She could feel all three components crying out in a symphony or euphoria - the howls of the grimm, the burning of the dust, and the despairing cries of the human and faunus souls within her.

It was heaven.

Cinder mirrored her actions, rushing forward with equal speed as a fiery orange aura cloaked her body, an obsidian sword coated in red hot fire forming in her hands as she cackled madly. The might of a spiritual warrior long dead engulfed her heart and soul, the embodiment of the fall, the end of hope, the end of everything - a blazing inferno that wished to scorch the world to ashes.

It was hell.

Two singularities separated for so long, but all came together in a dreaded convergence of corrupted purity. Heaven and hell met in with a mighty and thunderous bang, Weiss and Cinder's blades clashing with enough force to cleave away the very academy beneath their feet. The shockwave that rang out was enormous and deafening, causing cracks to spread through the floors and walls of Beacon tower as the world screamed out in agony. Sparks flew from their blades as Weiss and Cinder locked eyes, bright blue flames against oceans of magma. They struggled against each other, pushing with titanic strength as their auras clashed.

For a few moments, they were dead even - the amalgamation of Remnant's greatest existences against the magic of a time long dead. Weiss and Cinder chuckled as they pushed against each other, the force of their power causing lightning to crackle in the sky above as all of Vale trembled.

After a few seconds, they broke away, once more taking position across from each other with menacing and malignant expressions. Weiss laughed, the fiery blue aura swirling around her as the Hōgyoku cried out in jubilation and glee.

"I was worried you'd be unable to withstand my blows, good to know that I didn't get my hopes up for nothing." She commented, her bangs fluttering in the chilling winds as she stared down Cinder who stood across from her. The fall maiden looked like she was on top of the world, the very idea of defeat banished from her mind as she spoke with elegant mockery.

"That was a blow? I thought you were trying to tickle me." Cinder's own aura pulsed with fiery power, the heat warping the very air and space around her as the ground trembled beneath her feet. Weiss didn't fall for her words, however, and just let out a chuckle of her own as she once again disappeared from view in a burst of speed.

They clashed once again, more cracks spreading throughout the tower's floor as they pushed against each other. Thin bolts of lightning emanated from the center of their clash, scorching the pillars around them that held up the tower.

Weiss could feel it, the embers of Cinder's unknown power that made her entire being flare in rage. The Hōgyoku responded in kind, fueling her strength as she began to push Cinder back just a few inches. Who was this woman? How dare she stand against her with such disgusting energy? The feeling of disgust merged with her ecstasy at finding someone that could challenge her, merging into an emotion akin to psychotic joy.
