Unfortunately, Y/n wasn't able to get any sleep. Too many things were rushing in and put of their head.
Since Donnie had offered it, Y/n decided to call them. I mean, Y/n really had nothing better to do.
*Ring Ring 😃*
Donnie: "You alright Y/n?"
The fact that Don didn't say their normal greeting caught Y/n off guard.
Y/n: "Y-Yeah... Just can't sleep..."
Donnie: "Alright. Do you want me to come over?"
Y/n: " I-It's fine-! I-I don't wanna distract you from whatever you're doing-"
Donnie: "I'm not doing anything at the moment, just finished some coding. You're not giving me any inconvenience."
Y/n hesitated for a moment...
Y/n: "Can you come over then...?"
Donnie: "Of course, I'll be there in 5."
Donnie hung up. Y/n sighed and put their phone down and patiently waited for Donnie to arrive.
*5 minutes later...*
Y/n heard a knock at their window.
Y/n: "Come in, it's open-"
Donnie entered
Donnie: " Hey Y/n, are you doing okay?"
Y/n sighed
Y/n: "Yeah.. Just tired. And sick of everyone else- they're all getting on my nerves-"
Donnie: "Understandable."
They walked over to Y/n and sat down next to them.
Donnie: "We all run low on patience for people. Or of doing certain jobs. Hell, even I do."
Y/n didn't have much of a reply so they stayed silent. Which also left Donnie confused, they had zero idea how Y/n was feeling at the moment. All Don could tell was that they were unhappy.
Donnie: "Anything I can do?"
Y/n hesitated yet again, they didn't know how Donnie would feel about it. But...
Y/n, mumbling: " Can I have a hug...?
At first, Donnie wasn't sure how to feel. But they knew Y/n needed it.
Donnie: "Sure, it doesn't sound too bad. But please, not too tight."
Y/n was honestly surprised Dee agreed.
Y/n: "Y-You sure...? I know you don't usually enjoy being touched-"
Donnie: "I'm sure, just not too tight or for too long."
Y/n nodded as Donnie opened their arms for them. Y/n immediately dove into them.
At first touch Donnie wasn't sure how to process it, but after a minute they didn't mind it. They even hugged Y/n back.
Y/n: "Thanks Dee..."
Donnie: "No probbles Y/n."
