After my encounter with Kol Mikaelson in the bustling halls of Mystic Falls High School, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and curiosity. As I walked to my next class with my sister Cleo, my mind was consumed by thoughts of him.

Cleo nudged me playfully. "So, Charlotte, what's the deal with you and Kol? He seemed pretty interested."

I blushed, trying to hide my growing infatuation. "I don't know, Cleo. It was just a chance meeting."

She raised an eyebrow, clearly not convinced. "Oh, come on. I saw the way he looked at you. There's definitely some chemistry there."

I sighed, unable to deny the truth. "Maybe... but it's probably just a silly crush. We barely know each other."

Cleo smirked mischievously. "Well, you'll never know unless you give it a chance. You should talk to him again. Who knows where it could lead?"

Her words lingered in my mind as we entered our next class. I took my seat, my thoughts still consumed by Kol. The teacher began the lesson, but I found it difficult to concentrate.

As if fate was on my side, I spotted Kol walking into the classroom. He scanned the room, his eyes meeting mine for a brief moment before he took a seat near the back. My heart skipped a beat, and I felt a surge of courage.

Summoning all my bravery, I mustered the courage to approach him during a break. "Hey, Kol. Mind if I sit here?"

He looked up, surprise flickering in his eyes before a warm smile spread across his face. "Not at all, Charlotte. I'd be delighted."

I took the seat beside him, feeling a mix of nervousness and excitement. "So, what brings you to Mystic Falls High School?"

Kol leaned back, crossing his arms casually. "My family has recently moved here. We're adjusting to our new surroundings."

I nodded, intrigued by his mysterious background. "And what about you? How do you like it here?"

He chuckled softly. "It's different, that's for sure. But meeting someone like you has definitely made it more interesting."

His words made my heart flutter, and I couldn't help but smile. "Likewise, Kol. It's been a while since I've met someone who's made such an impression on me."

After a long day of classes we went home.
