It was something new everyday.

Unsure of how to show his true emotions toward Sofia, Daryl left gifts outside of her tent. It ranged from drinks he found, animal meat, baby items or flowers.

Sofia climbed out of her tent, sighing when she saw a pack of baby socks outside of her tent

"Guys persistent. Gotta give him some credit." Isabela said, rubbing her eyes

"Persistent like a deadly type of cancer." Sofia muttered, brushing her hands through her hair.
She walked over to the isolated part of camp where Daryl was. Sofia stood a few feet away, clearing her throat, watching as Daryl cleaned off his arrows, "Thank you." She said, folding her arms over her chest

"Fer what?" Daryl muttered, not wanting to look up

"The socks." Sofia said, "Thank you."

Daryl nodded, his eyes glued to the arrows

Sofia waited a moment before she turned on her heel

"I'm goin' on a hunt. Should be gone a couple days." Daryl said

Sofia paused, "Days? Why days?"

"Deer huntin'." Daryl replied, "That okay with you?"

Sofia turned around again, "Yeah. Why wouldn't it be?"

"Wouldn't want you to miss me or anything." Daryl said

"Arrogant. You are so arrogant." Sofia said, irritation evident in her voice

"Beautiful. You are so beautiful." Daryl spoke up, looking over at Sofia, "Motherhood suits you." He said, referring to her curvier body. Since they were isolated from the group, he felt more comfortable speaking up

Sofia felt the wind get knocked out of her lungs, "What?"

"You heard me." Daryl replied, smugly

Sofia felt her cheeks warm up as she rolled her eyes, walking back to the camp. As she was walking, she felt a calloused hand grab at her wrist, "Daryl." She sighed, turning around, furrowing her eyebrows

"Close." Merle said, "What're you doin' over here?" He hissed

"I was talking to Daryl." Sofia replied, trying to release her arm from his grasp, flinching as his hand tightened around her

"You stay the fuck away from Daryl." Merle warned, "You and that bastard baby of yours need to stay away." He warned

"Excuse me?" Sofia asked, looking up at him in disbelief

Merle cupped Sofias chin, his fingertips digging into her flesh, "Stay away from Daryl. He don't need some dumb bitch dragging him down." He said, "Hes just too nice to tell ya." He warned, essentially holding Sofia hostage. His hand enclosed around her chin and the other on his forearm, forcing Sofia to maintain a deadly eye contact

Unsure of what to say, Sofia inhaled softly before she spit on Merle, "Go to hell."

Merle laughed, pushing Sofia away, "Go on back to camp before I make your kid an orphan." He warned

Sofia rolled her eyes, "Pathetic. Old and pathetic." She muttered, walking back to camp. She beelined to the RV, walking inside to the bathroom. She looked at the bruise forming on her face, sighing know a bruise would form on her face.

Isabela knocked on the bathroom door, "You pooping?"

"N-no." Sofia sniffled

"Lemme in, I gotta pee." Isabela said
