"I just don't know what to do."

Dale had an arm wrapped around Sofia, sighing softly as he watched Iris play on the ground with some blocks, "Nobody else knows this?"

"Isabela, but that's because she's my sister." Sofia said, softly

"I think you've got fate working on your side." Dale said, "What're the chances you get reunited with your highschool sweetheart? C'mon, that's insanity."

"If he really loved me, why did he leave the first time?" Sofia asked

"Because sometimes people need distance to grow." Dale said

"That's so insane. Love is about growing together. Thinking that love will not change you is insane. I-I... It's egotistical to think that the world ended just to bring me and Daryl Dixon back together." Sofia sighed

"And your fiance being 'gone', you know!" He said, adding air quotations around 'gone.' Dale smiled again, "It's all adding up. " Dale noted, "Daryl is a decent man. I think you can do a lot worse."

"That shouldn't be the standard." Sofia said, "If he loved me the first time, he wouldn't have left. I was more than enough back then."

"Yeah, but he wasn't. Let him prove to you that he's changed." Dale said, "I see the way he looks after you three girls." He noted, "He drops off little gifts for Iris. I see them. We all see them. You don't do that for someone you dislike."

"It's not about disliking. I-I spent so much time healing. A-and my fiance has only been gone seven months. It feels wrong moving on." Sofia said

"I think with this situation, it's safe to assume that you were bound to move on at some point." Dale chuckled, "Plus - with what you told me about your fiance - maybe the apocalypse did you a favor."

Sofia sighed softly, "Maybe." She said, "Thank you, Dale."

"Of course. I enjoy our little talks, Soph. You're the only one willing to listen to this old bat." Dale teased

"You're a well of knowledge, Dale." Sofia grinned as she pat his knee. She looked up when Iris began crawling toward the door

"I guess that's our cue to head to the kitchen." Dale grinned, standing up

Sofia smiled as she stood up, walking over to Iris. She picked up the baby, holding her as she walked toward the kitchen

"Scrambled eggs! They're powdered but I make em good!" T-Dog smiled

Sofia sat down, "Thank you for cooking." She said sincerely

"Of course! I love doing it!" T-Dog smiled warmly

Sofia sat down beside Lori, "How're you?"

"Good. I haven't felt this good in a while." Lori admitted, reaching over and taking Iris into her arms

Sofia smiled warmly, "Bet it feels good to be reunited with Rick." She said

"Yeah. I didn't think we'd ever get our family back. We're so lucky." Lori said, reaching over and taking Sofia's hand, "I'm sorry." She said quietly, recalling Sofias fiance
