"That was an amazing interview, sir!" The anchor told and Aravind nodded with a smile before walking away to his car!
The seat next to him was empty like always! Years after years the seat next to him was always empty! She somehow managed to leave a piece of her presence around him and Aravind could feel it.
Stopping at the red light! Aravind scrolled down his WhatsApp chats! Her DP was long gone, and messages never reached her. But a status from Keerthana where in the girl's group chat something funny happened was uploaded! He knew she was active on social media
Her anger was right! Her actions were correct but her silence killed him. She could have slapped him and physically attacked him he would have not minded much but then this silence of hers was something more than physical pain.
After every interview he gave after every photo shoot he did! He could not help but wonder Something in him hoped that Aditi would somehow see this.
He sat wondering "Does she know he reached his goal? Does she know that he is in a position where she always wanted to see him? Did she ever see his messages? Did she miss him like he does? Does she know what is happening around her?
Among a thousand people she was the first one who managed to support him no matter how hard the situation was and Aravind was beyond grateful for that!
He looked at his red knuckles, bruised and badly injured it was common for a player like him but not common for him. A wound or even a mere scratch would never let un heal back when he was with Aditi. Now it was just him and the silence of her.
When the first time Aravind figured out that Aditi loved him more than he thought or claimed to like him! His first thoughts were SHE DOESN'T LOVE ME!! SHE'S NOT THAT STUPID.
Cause back then he was nothing but just a mere petty boy who was taking steps in his career! And Aditi was everything But then she looked at his demons in the eye and smiled. She fell for the very thing he thought she'd fear.
Like people say - Sometimes it's not the butterflies that tell you you're in love, but the pain.
And now when the pain was eating him alive Aravind knew butterflies are not just things which tell us we are in love.
But wasn't it too late?!

Almost her class was empty by now except for 6 of them who she made stay back to finish their homework A little one from there slowly took baby steps and stood in front of Aditi with his tiny hands behind his back hiding a can.
Aditi raised her eyebrows as she sat down to his height! The little one brought his hand front and showed her broken pieces of chips and a mini Pringles can.
Aditi's smile dropped for a minute before she gently took the can from his tiny hands and peaked his cheeks and the little boy immediately kissed her back before grabbing his bag and running out from the class.
The little one surely knew how to trick her and escape. She softly smiled and ended up sending the rest of the class out.
She picked up her handbag and started leaving for her house.
She felt tired but not the physical one. there are two types of tiredness, one is a dire need of sleep the other is a dire need of peace and Aditi needs peace.
That day! something in her chest broke so violently that she wondered if no one could have heard it! What was her wrong!? That she fell in love? That she decided to give it a second chance? She didn't know and she did not wanna know too.
Now that after years when she thinks about this! More than hurt it was angry but on herself! She did this to herself! She did this to her.
Hurt and pain cause she knew Arvind was incapable of returning her love to her but then when he stood begging for a chance, her heart melted and lost to him once again.
She didn't wanna continue his friendship nor listen to his explanations were obvious! She feared!
She knew herself! Being a friend with Bum after all this will ache her heart even more. And hearing his explanations too. So she avoided it almost for six years but now with the things happening around she wanted to ignore all of this even more on a larger scale.
Sighing she looked at a text that read: arriving in Chennai in a few minutes-Riya
Aditi smiled! After six years she was gone meet her friend in person and she couldn't believe it.
