I run through the trees hoping that whatever dreamwalker angered Smokey isn't dead yet. Yes I named the Palulukan Smokey. Don't ask me why or how but she is one of the few Palulukan that I have befriended over the years. She would never hurt anyone with me around but if a lone Na'vi or Dreamwalker were to ever cross her path she would kill them on the spot especially if they were to interfere with her hunts. She and her pride are some of the biggest Palulukan out there, big enough to fit a full grown human male into their mouths with a single bite. Their hides are also some of the thickest out there and human bullets do next to nothing to them. After running for what felt like hours I finally spot Smokey viciously digging into the roots of a tree. Shots are then fired off as a male voice yells out angrily as if to scare her off. This only proves to provoke her more as she moves away from the rapid fire and around to get at the male dreamwalker.

Smokey! I shout out gaining her attention. You will leave that male alone right now you hear me. I yell at her and she turns to face me as a deep annoyed growl leaves her throat. It does little to deter me though as I know she would never hurt me. Don't you dare give me any attitude you mangy feline i'm not gonna take that from you. I start to lecture her but before I could continue I'm yanked up and thrown over a wide shoulder as the male dreamwalker takes off into a run taking me with him. Smokey lets out an enraged roar as she soon follows gaining ground quickly despite her size and all the obstacles in her way. She soon gains up on the male and grabs hold of his bag and he throws me to the ground as Smokey swings him back and forth. The dreamwalker undoes the straps keeping him tethered and picks me up once again taking off into a full run again. Smokey realizes she been deceived and follows as he leads her towards a fucking cliff. No no no no don't go that way! I shout at him in english but the most I get from his in response is an ear twitch. I feel his body tense as he pushes himself to run faster before throwing me out in front of him as he jumps off the cliff. I flail around in the air trying to position myself so that I land correctly in the water. Yet it all proves to be useless though as I belly flop into the water and the pressure of the hit is enough to knock me unconscious.

I wake up to an uncomfortable feeling in my lungs and a unfamiliar mouth on mine pushing air into my lungs. Adrenaline runs through me for a brief moment and I reach up and punch whoever it is in the face. The quickly move away. Ow damn! He shouts as I get up and let vision clear up. Looking at him now he holds his cheek as he slightly laughs. Man I guess that's what I get for saving someone huh. He jests with a laugh all that earns him is a dirty look from me. I move to get up and he is quick to push me back down. I wouldn't if I where you, your ankle got pretty fucked up going through the rapids. I wrapped it up but you should lay off that foot for a while. He explains and I look down and see that a ripped up cloth problem from his shirt was wrapped around my ankle tight but not uncomfortable. I hiss in agitation for as eclipse falls I know i'll be vulnerable to the predators of the land and I highly doubt this dumbass dreamwalker will be of any help. Question. He says and I look over to him. Where is your mask and why the hell are you dressed like some kind of hooker? He asks and that earns him a slashed cheek as I drew my blades and sliced him.

God damn i'm sorry ok! He shouts as he wipes blood off his face. Quite being a baby I barely even sliced through the first layer of skin. I tell him annoyed. Also due to the circumstances you dragged us into we now have to find shelter before it gets to dark and because I can't walk you will have to carry me. I say and he winces slightly before nodding in agreement. He slides one hand under my legs and wraps the other around my shoulders before picking me up and holding me like a toddler on his hip. He holds me like this for a while as he walks through the jungle and the longer he walks the more and more my head starts to hurt and the more I feel like falling asleep. Hey stay awake you can't be falling asleep on me here. He murmurs and I shoot him another one of my famous glares. Maybe if some idiot hadn't thrown me off a cliff I wouldn't have a head and leg injury. I sass and he lets out a frustrated sigh. Hey, you didn't answer my questions earlier. He states before continuing. You know most humans die breathing this air so why aren't you? He questions and i roll my eyes at him.
