Jake: (standing in the police station, holding divorce papers) Sylvie, we need to talk.

Sylvie: (nervous and emotional) Jake, not now. This isn't the place.

Jake: (insistent) It's long overdue, Sylvie. I can't keep living like this.

) The presence of her colleagues and her sergeant makes the situation even more uncomfortable for Sylvie.)

Sergeant Hank: (concerned, approaching the group) Is everything alright here?

Erin: (whispering to Antonio) This is not the time or place for this.

Antonio: (nodding) Yeah, this should be handled privately.

Jake: (ignoring their comments) Sylvie, I've had enough. I'm done pretending like everything is fine when it's not. I'm filing for divorce, and I'll be with Sarah from now on.

(Sylvie looks at him, tears welling up in her eyes. She knows that their relationship has been strained, but hearing this in front of her colleagues and her sergeant is a painful blow.)

Sylvie: (voice trembling) Jake, please, let's not do this here.

Sergeant Hank: (firmly) Jake, Sylvie, this is not the appropriate place for such discussions. Take it somewhere private.

Jake: (reluctantly) Fine. We'll talk later, Sylvie.

(Sylvie, unable to hold back her tears, simply nods and quickly leaves the room, her colleagues watching with concern.)

Erin: (whispering to Antonio) I can't believe he did that here, in front of everyone.

Antonio: It's a tough situation, Erin. Let's give Sylvie some space for now.

(Sylvie, overwhelmed with emotions, retreats to a more private area to collect herself, while her colleagues remain in the police station, concerned about her well-being and the challenging situation she's facing.)
