Chapter Two

Jack and I dropped Genesis off at daycare, then we headed to my appointment.
"I'm so excited!" I squeal.
"So am I!" Jack said squeezing onto my hand.
"I want another girl." I say.
"Another girl? I'll spoil her like crazy." Jack chuckled. We pulled into the doctor's office and I walked in there hand and hand with Jack.
"Lacey Hathaway?" A man says.
"She's right here." Jack said standing infront of me. He gets really protective when it comes to other guys around me.
"Right this way ma'am." I follow him and sit down in the room.
"The doctor will be right with you." I just nodded and gave Jack a huge smile.
"We're gonna have two kids, that's pretty cool." He says while holding my hands.
"Hopefully we have more." I say cheerfully.
"More?!" He exclaimed.
"Yeah. I want five kids!"
"Oh." He said.
"What's wrong?" I ask while holding his hand.
"It's just that, we never agreed to having that many kids." He started saying.
"Oh." I say feeling my heart shatter to pieces. All of a sudden I felt a tear stroll down my face. When I was a kid I always wanted more siblings. Like the Kardashians. They all have fun together, fight a lot but at at the end of the day they always had eachothers backs. That's what I want for Genesis.
"What's wrong?" Jack asked. But I ignored him and quickly wiped my tears before the doctor came in.
"Hi Lacey how are you?" He asked. "Back again I see." I quickly gulp. I never told Jack I've came here before.
"You've been here before? He means when you were 16 right?" I hope he doesn't get mad or anything for not telling him.
"Um no babe. At first I wanted to surprise you so I went to the doctors before telling you I was pregnant with our second baby." I say carefully.
"Oh okay." He just brushed it off. I've been extremely paranoid lately. Ever since I saw Sam last month. I still don't know who the father of the child is. Either way, I want Jack to raise the child.
"Can we find out the sex yet?" Jack asked while the doctor rubbed gel on my stomach.
"No, it's too early. Wait about two or three more months." He said while rubbing the handle on my stomach. I looked up and didn't see much but it brought back memories to when I was pregnant with Genesis. The only difference is that Jack wasn't there.
I look over and see a tear fall down Jack's face, "Aw babe." I say with a smile.
"I can't believe we're having another kid. And it's all ours." He said while wiping his cheek.
I felt my heart drop, I can't believe I'm keeping this secret from Jack. It's something so huge and if he finds out he'd probably hate me forever.
"I love you Lacey." Jack said while holding onto my hand.
I give him a guilty smile, "I love you too Jack."
