After we visited Genesis it was 2, which means we have 2 hours until the rehearsal dinner. We went back home to get ready.
"Jack can we stop at Sephora? I need new liquid eyeliner." I say while straightening my hair.
"Yeah just let me finish paying this bill." He said while adjusting his glasses and focusing on his laptop.
"Alright." I mumble while finishing up my hair. I go into my closet and couldn't decide which heels I should wear, the sparkly silver ones or just the plain black ones.
"Jack which ones?" I say while holding them up in his face.
"Whichever one you like Lacey." He says without looking up.
"But I can't decide." I pout.
Jack sighed, "Just wear the silver ones. Why are you getting dressed now it's only 2:45?"
"I have to adjust to this outfit. I haven't dressed up in a while." I say while flipping my hair.
Jack just rolls his eyes and laughs. The doorbell rings and Jack goes to open it. It's Nate.
"Sup man. Damn lil mama." He says when he sees me in the kitchen.
"Hey watch it, that's my girl." Jack says sternly and I blush.
"Why are you even here man? The rehearsal dinner is 2 hours away."
"I know but me and the guys have a surprise for you guys."
"Ooh a surprise?" I exclaim interrupting their conversation.
"You couldn't wait until later?" Jack snaps.
"Jack be nice." I giggle. He's grumpy when he's tired.
"Just follow me." He walks upstairs and walks into Genesis' room. He opens the door and all of our friends jump out of her closet (practically killing themselves) and scream "SURPRISE!"
It was a queen size bed with a cute curtain surrounding it, it looked like a princess's bed.
"Aw this is so cute!" I yell.
"I like it thanks guys but um, when the hell did you find the time to sneak into our house?" Jack asks, which was a pretty good question.
"When you guys were at the hospital." Jill says.
"But how'd you unlock the door?" I ask.
"Oh please Lacey everyone knows where you hide your key." Nate says.
"Genesis is going to love this."
"We wanted to show her when she came home but after we heard she lost her memory we didn't want to frighten her." Jake said.
"Thanks. I love you guys." We all gather together for a group hug.
