After my conversation with Jack, I go back to lunch with my friends and he goes back to lunch with Tiana.
"What was all that about?" Katie asks.
"Don't worry about it." I mumble.
I go home and try to hide my wedding dress so Jack won't be able to find it. I don't need any more bad luck. I heard the door open and Jack walk in.
"I'm home." He says while walking up the stairs. He opens the door and I run over and slam it shut.
"You can't be in here!" I yell half joking.
"Um why?" He asks leaning on the door.
"I'm hiding my wedding dress!"
"Ugh. You're those kinds of brides." I could tell he rolled his eyes.
"Oh really? And what kind of bride am I Mr. Gilinsky?" I ask getting defensive.
"A bridezilla." He smirked while opening the door.
"I'm not even close to being a bridezilla!" I punch his arm.
"Ow." He jokes and rubs his arm.
"Get out." I point to the door.
"I thought it was only bad luck if I saw you in the dress?" He asks.
"I'm not taking any risks! Move it!" I snap while playfully smacking his butt.

I head back to Jill's house. Jack had to get an oil change on his car. I see Genesis and immediately give her a huge hug.
"Did you have fun baby girl?!" I say as innocent as possible. She nodded up and down and runs off with her friends.
"Hey Lacey." Jake says while coming from his office.
I smile at him, "What's up?"
"Working as usual." He chuckles.
I just giggle and go on my phone. I wasn't really involved in the conversation with Jill Layla or Katie. So I go outside and take a walk around the neighborhood. It was a cute little suburban area and I absolutely loved it. I saw abandoned train tracks and walk up and down looking down at the highway.
I got a call from a blocked number.
I don't even hesitate to answer it, "Hello?"
"Hey cupcake." A familiar voice spoke into the phone.
"Who is this?" I tremble.
"Don't act like you don't know who it is."
"Leave me alone!" I yell and hang up.
"That won't be possible." I heard someone behind me. I jump and quickly turn around.
"S-Sam?" I choke out.
"I told you I'd be back soon."
