We arrived at the hospital and I could barely walk, my legs felt weak.
"UM HELLO MY WIFE IS ABOUT TO GIVE FUCKING BIRTH!" Jack freaks out.
"Babe calm down." I say while holding into his arm. A nurse brings me a wheelchair and they quickly wheel me over to a room.
They carefully took off my wedding dress and put in scrubs.
"Hi I'm Dr. Montgomery, are you Lacey?"
I nod my head yes. "This is my intern Dr. Karev (YEAH GREYS ANATOMY) and he'll be helping me keep track of your twins."
"Okay. Um, I'm only 7 months? So how is it possible that my water broke?" I ask shaking.
"There isn't anything to be worried about we'll keep a good eye on them."
"Okay."

Dr. Montgomery left and Dr. Karev stayed doing an ultrasound on my stomach.
"How is everything going?" Jack asked the doctor.
"Yeah everything is just-" before he could finish his sentence he did a double take on the screen and widened his eyes.
"Um, is something wrong doctor?" I gulp.
He just gives me a nervous smile and says, "I'll be back with Dr. Montgomery."

"Hi Lacey, may I speak with you two?" Dr. Montgomery says smiling. We both nod.
"We looked at your blood work and saw abnormalities in your results." I widen my eyes.
"What does that mean?!" I tremble.
"There are several possibilities but to be sure we have to take a diagnostic test called an Amniocentesis."
"What is that?" Now I'm scared shitless.
"It's when we take fluid from your womb. It's just for precautions." Dr. Karev said.
I look at Jack and he nodded, "okay." I whisper.
The test went by fast and it hurt like hell but it was for the health of my babies so it was worth it. The doctors came back with the results.
"Are my babies gonna be okay?" Jack asked.
"They'll be fine. Just one is going to come out a little bit different than the other." She says.
"What kind of difference are you talking about?" Im now confused as hell.
"You have a 1 in 1,000 chance of having a baby with Down syndrome,"
