Chapter 19

Everyone left to get ready for our rehearsal dinner about 40 minutes later and Jack and I head to Sephora for my liquid eyeliner.
"That was a nice surprise wasn't it babe?" I ask Jack while holding onto his hand.
"Yeah it was. Genesis is gonna love it." He says while paying attention the road.
"Aren't you excited for tonight? I can't believe we went from hating eachother to wanting to spend the rest of our lives together with two kids."
"I know right." Jack chuckled and held my hand, "us meeting was literally a blessing in disguise." He kissed my hand and I blushed.
"We're here." I squeal and jump out of the car and run inside.
"Lacey?" Jack says trying to find me.
"Over here." I say while looking at the brand of a lipstick.
"That's a nice shade." Jack says while looking at the price.
"Eh I'm going to look over here." I go towards the front to see if there was another shade for a cheaper price.
"Hard to decide?" I hear a British accent say and I look up and blush. He was like...HOT. But I'm about to get married soon I can't look at other guys like this. Anyway he works here, he's suppose to help.
"Yeah I'm not sure if I should get a dark or light color." I say trying to sound professional.
"Try the dark one it makes your features pop more." He says while snapping his fingers, I giggle.
"Special event coming up?" he asks while giving me a sample of the lipstick to put on.
"Yeah we're getting married. Tonight's our rehearsal dinner." I hear Jack say, I jumped. He literally came out of no where. I could sense that he was jealous and I found it hilarious because I'm pretty sure the guy I'm talking to is obviously gay.
"Awh congratulations guys!" He claps his hands together quickly. "My husband and I have been married for a year and a half and it's been amazing. Good luck to you two!"
"Thanks man." Jack says while handing him the money to pay.
"No. It's on the house." He whispered and smirked at Jack.
"uhm thanks." Jack says uncomfortably and walked out.
"He was totally checking you out." I say while laughing once we got in the car.
"Oh my god that's so weird." He said while laughing.
"I think it's cute."

We pulled up the venue for our rehearsal dinner. Everyone was already there.
"Well look who finally showed up." We've been here for 30 minutes." Jill says while sipping on her wine.
"It's only been 5 minutes." Jake says while rolling his eyes, "ignore her she's drunk." Which caused everyone to laugh.
"Okay guys lets take our places." I say while me, Nate and the bridesmaids head towards the beginning of the aisle. I asked Nate to walk me down the aisle since my parents refused to come to the wedding. Lovely huh?
"You ready Lacey?" Nate says while crossing his left arm with my right.
"More than I'll ever be." I say while feeling a rush of anxiety wash over me.
Everything went by so fast and I was already facing Jack and we were holding hands.
"You make now kiss the bride." Jack picked me up and kissed me passionately. We turned to the invisible crowd and bowed.
"That was perfect guys." Nash says. I look over and saw him wiping his eyes.
"Awh are you crying?" Jack asks while hugging him.
"It's just....2 years ago you were the biggest fuckboy out there and now you finally found the right girl. And she made you just a better person."
Everyone 'Awwed'.
"You're right, I did find the right girl. I love you Lacey."  I blushed and wrapped my arms around him. Nash was right, it's impossible for someone to change within a few months. But Jack changed and I helped him. Genesis especially helped him.
"Well who's hungry? Cause I am." Cameron says and everyone agrees.
"We're all meeting at Buffalo Wild Wings at 6:30! Don't be late we'll order without you." I yell while walking out the door.
"Well it's 5:45, what should we do until 6:30?" I ask Jack while fixing my makeup.
"Go back home watch Netflix and just chill?" Jack says with a smirk on his face.
"Fine. But no funny business I wanna be on time Mr" I say while rolling my eyes. I felt my hormones starts to kick in.
"Alright alright." He says while starting the car engine.

We get home and I put Netflix on the TV.
"What do you wanna watch?"
"GLee!" I say while jumping up excitedly.
Jack rolled his eyes, "Lacey you've got watched that show three times."
"Ugh fine...uhm Grey's Anatomy?" I practically beg.
"I was thinking something more romantic like...50 Shades of Grey or something." He smirked.
"That's not romance Jack!" I yell getting irritated.
"And what? Cutting people open is?!" He yells back.
"Fine you watch 50 Shades of Grey by YOURSELF and I'll be watching Grey's Anatomy in our room!" I yell while stomping upstairs. I hate it when my pregnancy hormones kick in it just irritates Jack and doesn't make it any easier for me.
I go upstairs and lock myself in the bathroom and cry. I hear a knock on the door, "What?!" I snap.
"Lacey.... It's Jack." I open the door and see Jack.
"What Jack?"
"I just got off the phone with the doctor...it's about the baby."
