Alex had been living with his new mother for a few months now and Eda had been taking care of her little girl for a few months; and since that fateful December 25th her little girl had never been ill. She made her despair, yes, but certainly not because she was sick but because Alex was just a patent pain in the ass (and she still is).
In fact, when Eda woke up that April day and saw that her little girl's forehead was warmer than usual, she was disproportionately worried. She panicked if we want to put it that way.
She didn't know what to do. She had never had to take care of a sick child (because no one considered her responsible enough for this job), she didn't know what to do or who to ask for help but she couldn't think of anyone she trusted enough to tell her about Alex, no one she knew. well the children. No one, maybe except one person, a person she didn't really like very much but whom she still trusted and she knew knew the children. The principal of her former school, Hexside.

So I thought I'd stop here both for a bit of suspense and also to at least give you a chapter after almost 2 weeks of separation from the last one published.
I don't know if you missed the story or if you missed an update but I hope that this idea and I tell you that most likely in the next chapter there will be an entry of a character who will not be in every future chapter but who will have some hints in every chapter yes.
