Guys I know that the first two chapters were boring....but this is where things get interesting so...Happy Reading.
NOTE: The bold letters imply the thoughts that are not uttered through the mouth.

Aditya's POV,
I stood stunned listening to the last part of the letter.I had read and re-read the letter a lot of times but never came across the last part.I was sure this was added later not by my father but by someone else.I regretted submitting the letter before entering the royal court.
"Amazing!Amazing! I agree with the Raja of Hind . I would love to have Yuvraj Aditya as my son-in-law"The Sultan shouted happiness and victory envisaged on his voice. His agreement surprised me more because I was sure he would latch out and make a scene out of this.I sat with a thud on the seat accepting my defeat in this matter.I looked around the room to find displeased faces except the old man who read the letter. Shehzade Haider looked more angry than displeased.A Rajput cannot break his promise and the letter had given a kind of promise and assurance for peace.I had no evidence to prove this was not written by my father.I was fuming with anger and had an urge to throttle and suck the life out of this frail old man, when my thoughts were interrupted by the Sultans order.
"The holy marriage will take place a day before the next full moon night which is a week away , till then Yuvraj Aditya will be staying in this palace as my son-in-law"
I was sitting in the room allotted to me.I still could not understand how and why someone had changed the content of the letter. Not that they were interested in the peace treaty but marriage..Something was surely suspicious. My trail of thoughts were broken by a servant.
"Yuvraj, you are expected in the ghizakumrah for the lunch.Allow me to show the way"
I along with Surya and the servant went towards the ghizakumrah for lunch through the beautifully carved and designed corridors. My mind was surely somewhere else.As we entered the kumrah I was greeted by men of all ranks.
"Welcome !Potajaan! We were waiting for you"The old man said.I was surprised and angered at the same time as I did not expect him to be the father of the Sultan and I also knew that he has something to do with the tampering of the letter."Have a seat"he said.I sat down silently. There was an awkward silence in the hall.I looked around the kumrah and was amazed by the intricate and detailed hand carvings done on the dome shaped architecture.A beautiful and large chandelier was hanging from the dome with flickering diyas lit on the spot especially made for it.My eyes were roaming around the room .The room was partitioned with a translucent purdah with the right space for men and the left for women. It had only one gate for entry and exit. The gate had beautiful peacock carvings and had rubies for the eyes and emeralds for the feathers. My eyes stuck on a young girl wearing a rose gold hijab enter through the gate. Her eyes were covered with a golden mesh and small golden balls were sewn here and there on the hijab.I looked at her because not only was she the only one simply dressed but was also the one elegantly dressed.Nothing was extra on her.She caught me looking at her but what struck me was that she was glaring at me.I immediately looked away.
(The colour of her hijab)
"Yuvraj! looks like you already recognized her,NoorBeti go to your seat"the old man said.My eyes immediately hardened with disgust and hate.I was sure she was a characterless woman as the one who could change an official letter to marry me and become the queen of Jodhpur no other word was fit to describe her.
"Yuvraj,I know that you don't know NoorBeti at all.But believe me you would not regret making her your bride. She is the most delicate and pure woman in the whole of Afghan. She is the most beautiful girl and her skin is as white as the swan .She is a woman with both beauty and brains. And I will not deceive in this matter".
Delicate and pure! hmmph !surely,a woman who can write off her own marriage is surely pure and also hats off to her depraved brain As for her skin tone I don't fucking care even if she looks like a pig.
" I will take note of that ,Wazir-e-azam"I said as polite as possible, half meaning it.Even though my hunger was already satiated by all the crappy talks of the old man I could not disrespect food so I ate it all.The food was surely delicious but I was more worried about the reaction of my family on knowing that I would be marrying a girl who was not related to me in any way nor did she follow the same religion as us.
I strided through the familiar hallways towards the room provided for me."Surya find out who and why was the letter changed and also find a way to send letters to Rajmata".I knew letters sent from here will be read by someone or the other so I could not write much in there.
From the other end of the hallways I saw a woman in rose gold walking towards us I scoffed internally but could not hide the smirk that formed in my face. Finally I got to talk to her alone. What a unlucky luck I possess.
