It was Saturday afternoon Qualifying. Celia had qualified in P3 with Oscar and Max in front of her. She wasn't exactly happy about it but Max was always good in Japan. She was disappointed in herself since Seb was there to watch and she didn't even make it front row.

Anyways she always found a way to distract her after being disappointed im herself. Debrief was done. She was nicely tucked in her bed with a book while waiting for Max. He had someone always more press in Japan because of Hondas home race.

"Hi" said Max smiling at her once he made it back to their hotel room "Hello" she smiled and put her book down "How was your day?" Max sat down on the bed after taking off his jacket

"well Lando almost cried after I told him we are getting sushi tomorrow and Seb and Mick—" Celia went on to tell Max all about her day even though they saw each other after Qualifying. He's just smiled at her and squeezed her hand. Dam he was so in love with her.

"I am gonna get ready for bed" he pressed a kiss on her cheek "okay" she smiled and grabbed her book

Max headed to the bathroom, and Celia, with a small sigh of contentment, settled back into her pillows and opened her book again. It wasn't long before Max emerged, his hair slightly damp and wearing his comfortable nightclothes. He paused at the sight of her, deep in her book, a small smile playing on her lips.

"What are you reading?" Max asked, his tone teasing as he crawled onto the bed beside her.

Celia flashed him a mischievous smile, slightly embarrassed by her choice of reading material. "It's just a romance novel," she admitted, her cheeks coloring a bit. "Something light."

Max chuckled softly, leaning over to sneak a peek at the cover. "Looks intense," he commented, raising an eyebrow suggestively.

"Why are you closing your legs, babe? Your legs were made to stay open so I can enjoy the view and touch and taste what is mine whenever I want. No, babe, that's not enough. Spread them a little more. Just like that. Perfect."

"It's not that intense," Celia defended, her smile widening. She loved how he could make her laugh even after a tough day.

Max laughed, a warm, delightful sound that filled the room. He took the book from her hands and placed it on the nightstand. Turning to face her fully, he propped himself up on one elbow, his eyes softening as he looked at her. "Forget the book for now. I missed you."

Celia's heart fluttered at his words. She reached up to touch his face, feeling the stubble that had grown throughout the day. "I missed you too," she whispered.

Max's gaze deepened, and he leaned in closer, his lips brushing hers in a tender kiss that lingered, conveying all the emotions he held inside. When he pulled back, he didn't go far, staying close enough that his forehead rested against hers.
