"To be honest I wanna know what the FIA thought while making the schedule why is there a 3 week break, thats so random" said Celia "probably because Singapore was so demanding" answered Charles next to her "I don't think the FIA was thinking at all" commented Max from the driver seat"Anyways Max if you want to switch there is a petrol station in 5 Kilometers" the three where on their way to Switzerland, Charles and Celia had plans to go hiking with Seb and well Celia couldn't just leave her husband home alone, since she would already leave him the next week to go on vacation with Lando.
"Yeah, Charles you'll drive, right?" he nodded leaving Celia in shock "its my car why am I not allowed to drive" protested the German woman "because you are pregnant" said Max "i am 6 months along not 3 minutes from giving birth" Charles just laughed while Max gave her a death glare through the mirror
"You can drive in Switzerland but not 3 long ass hours" decided Max "you've been married for one month and already bicker like an old couple" Charles chuckled "shut up" Celia glared at him "be careful she has mood swings" warned Max "Shut up," Celia grumbled, playfully elbowing the seat behind her. "Be careful, Charles—he thinks he's an expert on mood swings now."
"I've learned the hard way," Max quipped, though the fondness in his voice was clear. He leaned over and kissed Celia's cheek, his hand gently resting on her belly.
Celia smiled and leaned into him briefly before returning to her usual playful self. "Can I get a divorce already?" she joked, making both men laugh as they pulled into the petrol station to switch drivers.
Once they finally arrived in the Berner Alps, the group was greeted by the breathtaking beauty of the Swiss Alps. The air was crisp, and the skies were a perfect shade of blue. Seb was already waiting for them at the trailhead, wearing his usual calm, friendly smile.
"Ah, there they are," Seb greeted them warmly as they all climbed out of the car. He gave Max a firm handshake and pulled Charles into a quick hug. When it was Celia's turn, he wrapped her in a gentle, protective embrace, careful of her growing belly. "You look great, Celia. Pregnancy suits you."
"Thanks, Seb," Celia beamed. "I've missed this—getting out in nature, away from all the noise."
Seb smiled knowingly. "There's nothing like the mountains to clear your mind."
They started their hike, the gentle incline of the mountain trail perfect for their relaxing day out. Charles and Max immediately fell into conversation, chatting animatedly about racing, cars, and just about anything that came to their minds. The pair was so engrossed in their discussion that it was as if the rest of the world didn't exist.
Celia and Seb, on the other hand, fell into a more peaceful rhythm, walking slightly behind the other two. The soft crunch of gravel underfoot and the occasional bird call were the only sounds that accompanied them.
