"Ah, found you" Celia smiled at Lewis before sitting down at the bar next to him "I wasn't hiding" he chuckled "sure you weren't" she winked at him before telling the bartender she wanted a vodka cranberry and a gin tonic (obviously for Max)
"But I am pretty sure he is also avoiding you" Celia threw a look into Nicos direction "well he wasn't the one who texted me drunk at your championship party" said Lewis "I told Danny we wouldn't need more tequila, dam" she shook her head and smiled
"But to be honest I am keeping my distance too, I think he is mad at me" Lewis chuckled "he could never be mad at YOU. You are his golden girl" "nah I get on his nerves all the time, mostly with TikTok edits" Celia let out a laugh "I think the last one hit a nerve, it was a very sad edit of the two of you" she pressed her lips into a thin line
"Anyways I will find Oscar for you, he is also avoiding people in general. I am sure you can avoid people together and seem deep in conversation. So deep that no one would dare to approach you" Celia gave Lewis a side hug and said "tip don't get too drunk at the FIA Gala or you might regret something in the morning" she threw him a kiss before leaving the bar and leaving him laughing
"So you are avoiding people?" asked Celia after finding Oscar alone in a corner "not really in the mood" mumbled the young Aussie "well if you want to you can avoid people together with Lewis because he is doing the same thing but i feel like there is something deeper than that" Oscar looked at her with sad eyes- wait why was he sad he won rookie of the year
"You can tell me, i wont tell anybody, not even Lando or my diary. I promise" "My girlfriend and I broke up a couple of weeks ago" mumbled the rookie "oh" Celia starred him up and down "thats why I don't feel like talking to people" "and you didn't tell anybody, och Oscar" she opened her arms to hug the 22 year old
"Break ups are shit but it is even more shit to be depressed after winning an award, believe me i know" they pulled away from the hug and she smiled at him "come one" she pulled him to the bar and sat him down next to Lewis who only let a small "hi" and a smile out
Before leaving the two alone Celia told the bartender "something strong and sweet for our rookie of the year" she gave Oscar another hug, turned to Lewis and said "take care of him, I have to stop my dad from going on a rant about the German football league to Helmut Marko" and left the two alone. Maybe they could talk about unsolved feelings (especially for team or ex teammates)
