Secretariat you coward
What's with all the yapping?
What's with all the tears?
You wanted this right?
You have nothing to lose
Nothing to love
So,
Just accept it.
Look death in the eyes
And
Don't flinch when she caresses you with her cold hands
Let go
Let it be
Maybe this is your fate
Maybe it's just circumstances
Maybe you're just unlucky
A testament to the fragility of the soul
The result of reckless abandon
An exhibit of what happens when hope is stripped away
You were already a corpse before you even stepped unto the bridge
Shuffling like an empty husk
You knew this was gonna happen didn't you?
So you tried to buy time
Hoping that they wouldn't catch up to you
But they did.
So
Here you are
I guess what's done is done
No use stalling now
It's already in motion
The water is near
Waiting for you just like a new friend
Better make a good first impression
