Chapter 101:
"new school year, new threats"
SENIOR year, the last time that she would stroll through the halls of Beacon High before graduating and leaving this small town for good. Anna's surprised that she's made it this far, mostly because her life is one never ending nightmare with supernatural big bads who are hell bent on killing her pack every year. Also, there's her grades that slipped drastically after their move from Paris back to Beacon. Who knew the curriculum in France was so much easier? Coming back to Beacon was strenuous for her Isaac, so the step-siblings had to sit through summer school with Malia and Stiles, —he was only there for his girlfriend, and well... boredom— which brought the foursome closer.
When they weren't having group tutoring sessions that were led by Stiles himself since he had the best grades out of the group, they often hang out separately in pairs.
Isaac hangs out with Malia, and Anna hangs out with Stiles.
Her stepbrother and the werecoyote were very similar in personality, with their blunt remarks, their struggle with understanding empathy, their dark sense of humor, and not to mention their somewhat feral nature of being wolves.
They were... quite the pair.
But she and Stiles? They've always been good with each other. Since the day they met the two always clicked, they're always on the same wavelength and they're the epitome of partners in crime.
And while they were a bit rocky after her move back to Beacon following their break up, they cleared the air and wiped the slate clean. After that they'd given themselves a few weeks of space, and then they were right back where they started those first couple days when she moved to Beacon Hills.
Effortlessly close again, like nothing ever happened.
Since Stiles knew the truth about what really happened between the two of them, his mind was a lot more clear and he could focus on his Spark. And because Anna's ability was similar to his, he asked her to help him practice.
