The day passed uneventfully. Travis went to all his classes, barely listened to the teacher's introductions, and rolled his eyes as he got scolded for not doing his summer reading- Even though the knowledge that he would have so many F's on his report card so soon after the beginning of the year made him panic. Kenneth was going to be pissed, but this was technically his fault anyways. Travis hadn't had time or resources to do his reading, he was too busy cleaning and Kenneth said no to all the books required.

Travis clenched his jaw as the bell for the last class of the day rang. Everyone in the room was bustling, ready to leave and enjoy the rest of their day. He did the very same, but what set him apart from the rest of the class was his lack of a buddy to talk to. Travis had no friends, and no one would dare to ever talk to him. He was alone as he stood, grabbing up his things. He was alone as he exited the classroom and walked to his locker. Travis didn't mind that so much, though. It gave him no one to have to focus on, except for the blue-haired boy he was looking out for.

His eyes caught on the bright blue hair. Travis fought his way through the students to the left side of the hall, where Sal stood next to his open locker. He had to stand on his tiptoes to reach the top shelf of it. Travis laughed a bit to himself at the sight, but deep down he thought it was cute. Never would he admit that, though. He would much rather stand here and laugh at Sal's struggles than ever confess his feelings.

That was a lie, though, and he knew it. Travis would give anything to be himself, to be able to confess and love the boy he loved openly. The only chance he would ever have at that was if somehow Sal's brain were to be wiped, and he would have a blank slate to work with. Only then would Sal forgive him and love him. But even if that were to happen, how would Travis keep Sal's friends away from him? How would he be able to convince Sal that his friends didn't know what they were talking about, that Travis wasn't a bad person?

Sal looks over, surely able to tell he's being watched and laughed at. There's an unidentifiable look in his eye as it catches on Travis. He turns back to his locker, but his rifling through his books becomes a bit faster of a motion. Travis can tell Sal's hoping Larry would come around soon, preferably now.

Travis decides that staring and laughing isn't doing much, and he decides to step up to Sal. A few passing students watch the interaction as it starts, but no one stops to stare. Not just yet, but they will. Sal's about to get his stupid little faggy ass beaten.
