5. The Saint

-Morning-

It was the morning, I rubbed my eyes, I noticed that Diego's arm was wrapped around me.
That's why I was so warm last night, I must've fell asleep to it though, that's cute.
Get over yourself Anastasia! Yes my real name is Anastasia, but people call me Maria.

You see, my mum was Italian, then she fell for my dad who was Russian. My mum is from the Italian mafia, my dad is from the Russian mafia. So I'm half Italian, half Russian. But I use the Italian language more, because I grew up there.
Italy and Russia get along, it's just the Spanish mafia, who don't get along with us.

I moved myself from under Diego's arm, I walked towards the balcony, I opened it to look outside. The garden was beautiful, I loved the rose bushes. Not to mention, there was tulips too.
Shall I ask Diego, if I can go in the garden? He can even ask his security guard, to keep an eye on me.
I'm tired of running, I can't be bothered anymore, if he wants to shoot me, he can.

I turned around to see if Diego was awake, he was already awake, he had a towel wrapped around him.
Oh my fucking god!
He's naked, oh my! I'm sorry, but he's insanely hot. I couldn't take my eyes off him, fuck me & make me pregnant I thought.
What the hell was I thinking?
Get a grip girl!
I rubbed my eyes, whilst walking towards Diego, he turned around.

"What do you want? Do you like what you see?" Diego asked
I glared at him, I take it back now, the part when I said he was hot, I've gone off him now.
"No I don't, I was wondering could I see the garden?" I asked
"Why would I let you do that? You'll try and run" Diego cried
"How will I, when I'll have a security guard with me?" I asked

Diego thought for a moment, looked at me, then looked at the door.
"Lion! Get up here" Diego shouted
"Your staff should get a raise, having to hear you shout all day" I replied
"Do you want to go in the garden or not?" Diego teased
"Yes" I smirked
Lion come through the door, out of breath, he looked at me then looked at Diego.
"Have you both just-?"
"Don't flatter yourself" I cried

"Can you take Russo, to the garden please?"
Diego asked
"Manners as well, are you feeling alright?" I asked
"Shut up, before I shoot you" Diego cried
I let out a giggle, then raised my eyebrow at him, as well as, smirking.
"Try it" I smirked
"Lion? Take her would you" Diego replied
I grabbed a book, just in case I found a bench, I would read for hours on end.

Lion nodded, we walked out the room, through the living room, then out of the back door.
I walked through the garden, it felt like a green house, it was beautiful! I walked over to the ladies, they was picking out weeds from the slabs of concrete.
I walked over towards them, I started to help out putting weeds into the bag, I wanted to help.

Diego was watching from the balcony, lion looked at Diego, whilst looking at me.
Probably thought I was different, but I loved helping others, it was in my nature.
Suddenly, I heard a gun shot from a distance, I hurried the ladies inside.
I started looking for a gun, I needed to do something, I couldn't just stand here. There was kids inside the building, I couldn't let nothing bad happen to them.

Finally, I found a gun, I reloaded it quickly.
I ran outside, whilst hiding behind a bush, not the best hiding spot, but never mind.
I saw a couple men shoot at the door, where the ladies where.
I aimed at his head, then shot him, bullseye!
I aimed my gun at the next bloke, they all looked Turkish, are they the Spanish mafia's rivals now?

I shot the next man, then the next, one after the other. Us Italians didn't get along with the Turkish mafia neither, that was the one thing me and Diego had in common.
Men were firing at all different directions, I kept shooting and shooting, I wasn't doing it for Diego.
I was doing it for the children, besides, ladies inside.

-Late Evening-

At last, it was all over, in a blink of an eye.
I walked inside the building, I strode into Diego's room, I closed the door behind me.
I went into the bathroom, I had a shower, to get rid of today's evidence.
I got dressed in the bathroom, I didn't want to walk out, whilst Diego was standing in there.

I walked out of the bathroom, I dived into bed, I got cosy.
I started to read my book, it's about a women sticking up for her rights, I found it interesting.
It was so inspirational, hearing another women's voice, to speak up for what she believes in.
-Tap Tap-
"Come in" I called
Larisa walked into the room, she laid my dinner down on a tray, it was stir fry.

Ooooh! I love stir fry!
"Oooh, that smells good. Thank you" I smiled
"You're welcome! Now eat up sweet" Larisa replied
Larisa left the room, I started to tuck into my meal, it was tasty.
It tasted like Chinese, but better!
Diego's chefs know how to cook, dayum! I could eat this all day.
Diego walked into the bedroom, he looked tipsy, he brought another women into the room.

What the hell is going on?
I thought me and Diego shared a room, I don't know why this bothered me so much, but it did. Was I jealous?
Why was I catching feelings for him? He didn't deserve me, not one bit!

"Night sexy, I'll ring you tomorrow" Diego cried
The lady exited the room, my eyes were trying to stay in my book, I didn't want to look at him.
I don't know why I'm annoyed, I don't understand, he's single, he can do what he likes.
