19. I Am Yours

"Look I'm not good at all this relationship shit ok? But I do know one thing" Diego cried
"What's that?" I asked
"Do you know when I was in that hospital bed, and you healed me?" Diego begged
"Yes, what about it?" I asked
"I heard you, say that you loved me. Is that true?" Diego asked
I looked at him, like he was the only man in the this world. Of course, I loved him. I would take on any man/woman, who ever tried to kill Diego. I would take a bullet for him.
"Yes, I do love you" I answered
Diego let out a warm smile, I hugged Diego, for what felt like hours, I wanted to feel his warm embrace.

"I do love you Miss.Blackmore, I am yours only. I would never send you to Italy, you don't belong there" Diego cried
"We will take this slowly ok?" I ask
"Yes, of course. Go and patch things up with your mum" Diego explained
I nodded, this was something I needed to do on my own, I didn't want too. But it was the right thing to do, it was the mature way.
I exited the room, I'd never felt more happy in my whole entire life, Diego actually loved me. I didn't know whether to jump around in excitement, or take it like an adult.
I walked downstairs, to my surprise, Lion was talking to mum.

I entered the room, I took a deep breath, I looked at my mum, then back at Diego.
"Could you give us a moment alone Lion please?" I ask
"Of course, V" Lion said
Lion exited the room, I sat down in front of the woman who abandoned me at a young age, for the right reasons of course.
"Why are you here?" I ask
Mum looked at me, looked down at the floor, then back at me.
"I heard that you and Lion found each other again, so I tried looking for you both for years" mum explained
Something wasn't adding up here, my mum was getting followed by the Italians, who told her we had found each other?
"You was getting followed by the Italians, that's why you abandoned me when I was a baby" I explained

If she don't admit to that, she's not who she says she is, I'm not going to believe her lies!
"Yes I was, I put you on Mira's doorstep. I didn't know what else to do" mum cried
"I didn't belong there, because of you dumping me there, I had to endure Mira's abuse for years" I explained
It was true, from getting burned, to being called names. It was the worst feeling in the world, somebody being jealous of the gift I got given. I got given it for a reason.
I had always felt like an outcast in that family, I knew I didn't always belong there, I felt like I was different to everybody else.
You're not meant to feel like that, especially in your own home.

"I'm sorry, you had to endure that. I wish I could've done things differently" mum cried
"So, who's our dad then?" I ask
"It was just an affair, that's all. When both of you were born, I cut all ties with him. I ended it, before I fell for him more" mum explained
"Was he in the mafia?" I ask
"He was apart of the New York Mafia, I don't know what he's doing now" mum replied
"I need to meet him, what do you mean when both of us were born? We aren't twins are we?" I ask
Mum looked stunned, her eyes turned purple, like mine did.
I wondered all those years, what did my mum look like? Did she have blonde brown hair like me? Did she look like me?

Questions started to run through my mind, questions that hadn't been answered, all throughout my entire life.
Was me and Lion twins? If he was, he was the other half of me.
"Yes, you're twins. Lion knows this" mum cried
I saw a vision, I see Mira approaching the gates outside the mansion, she tries killing Diego or Lion.
I felt faint, I felt pain take over my body, my vision began to fade.
"Violet!" Mum screamed
-Night time-
I woke up to the sound of fire burning, Diego was sat on the bed next to me, running his fingers through my hair.

"Diego? I had a vision" I cried
"What was it?" Diego asked
"Mira approaching the gates, as well as trying to stab you or Lion" I explained
"That won't happen beauty, I promise" Diego cried
I hope that's true, I try to accept it, but I cannot help but worry.
I grabbed my bow and arrow, I kept guard all night, I practiced, I didn't want this event to happen.
"Where are you going?" Mum asked
"Going to practice my archery, I saw a vision that Mira was going to stab either Diego or Lion" I explained
"I'm coming with you, us girls need to stick together. Nobody is touching my fucking son" mum cried

I walked out towards the field, I landed my bow on bullseye, so did my mum.
Suddenly, I heard rustling in the bushes, I pulled back my bow to get into action.
I see a figure approaching the gates, it was a figure with a hooded cloak, I walked behind the hooded figure. Turned her around, it was Mira, I stabbed her in the neck multiple times.
"Nobody fucks with my family" I said angrily, gritting my teeth
I felt anger take over me, I looked around to see if we were surrounded, we wasn't.
Why would Mira come on her own?
Unless, her family abandoned her, karma is a bitch.

"You can see visions?" Mum asked
"Yes, it's like a warning" I cried
"You're the most powerful sorcerer I know, even I can't see visions. I need to practice mum explained
"As Lion said, I'm the queen of magic"...
