MIKAYLA COULDN'T BREATH AS SHE PUSHED HERSELF TO RUN FASTER, her heart felt like it was about to burst out of her chest in the moment of time and her leg felt like they were gonna fall off. The horrid, blood curdling screams echoed throughout the house. She didn't take a moment to think or even had the time to get her gun, the dragger in her shoe was enough.

"Dale!" Mikayla screamed, flying across the field, to where she thought the screams were coming from. Her eyes began to water as she whipped around, trying to spot the elder man, "Dale!"

Pulling out the dragger from her shoe, she began to run again, pushing herself faster across the field. She didn't know if she was going in the right direction, but hearing Dale's screams made her run faster.

"Dale!" She cried into the darkness, her breathing was heavy as she glanced around the pitch dark. Adrenaline ran through her veins as she heard Andrea's screams. The younger Rhee was closer towards the elder man and his life depended on how fast she was to find him.

Dale's scream became lounder, indicating that she was close. She glanced over towards the house, flashlight moved among the darkness in the distances, screams of panic had emerged, Glenn's worrying shouts pierced
through the farm. Mikayla had slowed down as she came closer towards the two shadows, her breath hitched in her throat, that's when she saw it.

Two shadows in the tall grass, stumbling back a bit at the scene in front of her. A walker was holding Dale down, her eyes watered at the sight. Without hesitation, she gripped the dragger in her hand as she took a deep breath in, she forcefully kicked the walker harshly off of the elder man. Stumbling onto the ground, losing grip of the dragger, her hands patted the ground searching for the dagger, she scrambled onto her feet.

Panic ran through her veins as she didn't feel her dagger anywhere, the walker pushed itself onto its feet, snapping its rotten jaw at the younger Rhee while its fingers tried to reach her.

Mikayla let out a groan as she kicked it further away from her. She took a deep breath in as she came face to face with the walker.

"Mikayla!" Glenn's panicked screams had pierced through her ears, giving her the strength to push the walker further away from her and Dale, a tear had fallen as she stumbled onto the grass.

Before Mikayla knew it the walker had fallen onto her, she groaned as she used her strength to keep the walker off of her. Her arms became weak, she let out a sigh, if this was it, she died trying to save someone she loved.

Dying a hero's death.

Her eyes fluttered shut, waiting to fill the walker's jaw snap onto her but it never comes. Her eyes fluttered open as she felt a pair of strong arms wrap around her waist, helping her stand on her feet. Searching her for any bites, she came face to face with the redneck, he let out a sigh of relief as soon as he found no bites. Without a second thought he brought the girl into his embrace, his chin resting on her head, "we're over here!" Daryl called out as the others jogged over.
