Felix pov

It was now dawn and I was waiting for Adeline to be back so we could go and have dinner with the commander.
Ryujin was nowhere to be found as well and I was starting to panic.

"Where the hell are they?" I said to myself.

Hyunjin had gone to have a word with his sister, so I was alone in the dining room waiting anxiously.

My thoughts were interrupted by someone entering the room.I looked at the door and a woman was standing there, she had long black hair and foxlike features.

Her sharp eyes traveled all over my figure before she took a few steps towards me.

"The leader of the Sky People I assume," she asked.
"Yes,"
"You look much more delicate than what I had imagined the leader of such people to be," she said and sat down in one of the chairs,"

I was taken aback by her comment and a little offended as well, but I didn't speak back.

"Who are you?" I asked.
"I'm Chaeryeong of the Fox clan," she said.

She must be an important person here since she is sitting at the commander's dining table, but before I could ask further questions the door opened again, and this time the Commander and Ryujin walked in.

Ryujin came straight to me while Yeji went to sit in her place at the top of the table.
"You were with the commander?" I whispered to her.
"Yes, I'll explain later. Where is Adeline." She asked.
"I have no idea..." I replied

Jisung pov.

-24 hours earlier-

After we had all been divided into two teams to go looking at the military base, Chan, Adeline, and I had been wandering in the woods when we got the other team's signal meaning they had found it.

We had to find our way to where the other team was following the sound of the bullet that had been previously shot and as we did, I began recognizing the path.

We were going towards the bunker.

"Oh...I know the place follow me" I said and the rest of them followed my lead.

I was right because as we got close to the bunker, we were able to see Ryujin and Felix standing outside.

"Did you find it?" asked Adeline and Felix nodded.
"It's inside this bunker. There was a hidden passage inside...but there was something even more interesting than just a military base down there" he said, and I looked towards the entrance.
"What did you find?"
"Come inside and see for yourself" he replied and walked in.

I found myself inside the secret passage of the bunker, leading to what appears to be a meticulously maintained laboratory.

The space is expansive and enclosed, featuring immaculate white tiles and walls, which gleamed under the soft, cool lighting.
Although the laboratory is in pristine condition, there are subtle signs of aging in some areas, with occasional molding and creasing on the walls.

An array of high-tech equipment adorned the laboratory, with countless screens and computers scattered throughout, their soft hum filling the air.
These sophisticated devices were connected to an intricate network, their screens displaying complex data, charts, and diagrams, suggesting scientific research of profound significance.

I couldn't help but wonder what experiments and discoveries had taken place here.

In one corner of the laboratory, a big-sealing, high-security container stood tall containing numerous firearms and weapons.
