We were both hiding behind some bushes in silence as Felix and the Commander talked.

"If something happens to Felix I'll blow them all up."

"If they do we will literally blow them all up," I said keeping my eyes on them and on the bomb Ryujin and I had set an hour before the grounders had come.

It wasn't a bomb strong enough to destroy the bridge because that would kill Felix too, but It would be enough of a distraction for him to escape if things went South.

"Are you feeling better?" I asked to break the silence that fell after a while.

"Yes," he said, sounding more irritated than convinced.

"Are you sure-"

"Han," he said firmly.

"Ok, alright, jeez!" I sighed, rolling my eyes.

"I don't trust that grounder," said Minho changing the subject.

"Hyunjin?"

"Yeah"

"Lix seems to have taken a liking to him," I pointed out, remembering how my best friend looked at him and how much trust he had put in the grounder despite him saying he didn't trust him.

"Well, the fact that Felix has shit taste in men ain't new," said Minho, and I giggled.

"He is kinda hot though, not gona lie," I said and he turned to look at me and then frowned.

"What?"

He just scoffed and looked forward again.

"The short guy next to the Commander is hot too," I said smiling.

"Will you stop it?"

"Why? Are you jealous?"

"No. They're our enemy. Don't be stupid," he said.

"Hate fucking is a thing you know," I said and he looked even more irritated than before.

"Right. Whatever...just keep your mind on the mission,"

"Don't get jelly"

"I'm not"

"Ok"

"I'm not!"

"I said ok"

"You didn't seem convinced"

"Well...so it's ok if I fuck someone else?" I asked to mess with him.

I obviously had no intention of doing anything like that. I literally felt no sexual attraction toward other people. He opened his mouth to say something then closed it again as if he decided against whatever he thought of saying, and instead, went with saying something else.

"S'not like I'm gonna stop you. Do whatever you want," he said nonchalantly.

"But you'll get mad?"

"Can you stop being annoying?" he bit back.

"You didn't deny it," I said and he sighed. I smiled wider and bumped our shoulders.

"I don't care," he said.

"Asshole" I whispered and he smiled.


Minho then grabbed my chin and turned my face to look me in the eyes.

"You talk too much and annoy me, you know that," he said before kissing me. I kissed him back and then broke the kiss to breathe.

"Guess you'll have to shut me up like that all the time then," I said grinning.

"I guess I will" he smiled and I kissed him again.


After that, we focused again on the mission. While keeping a close eye on Felix and the grounders, he reached for my hand and squeeze before using it to drag me closer.

"About before" he started.
