58. Anxious

Nick Nelson:

We arrive at the hotel we're staying at for the next few days and I park the car in the parking lot, I turn around to see River and Avery asleep, "char loo-" I turn around to see Charlie also peacefully sleeping in the seat beside me, I smile and walk out the car, I grab all of our luggage and lock the car while I take it in the hotel so nothing happens to my baby's while I'm gone. "Hello how may I help you ?" The receptionist asks, "hey, my names Nicholas Nelson and my husbands name is Charles Nelson, we have a hotel booked for 5 days." I say, she types on her computer and looks back up at me, "ah the Nelson family okay, we've got a special suite for you." I look at her confused, "we didn't book a luxury suite." She smiles, "the London-boy band booked it for you, they told me over the phone about your stay, good luck." She smiles happily, "oh haha thank you" I take they key out her hands and quickly run up the stairs as I don't want to leave Charlie, River and Avery in the car for to long. I open the door and my eyes beam open. Everything is beautifull, polished and clean, I know Charlie will love this. I set everything down and spring back downstairs into the parking lot, I un-click Rivers car seat and put him in the baby carrier which is peacefully resting on my chest, i then gently shake every awake, "hey sweetie we're here, hop on my back." She sleepily mumbles something but gets on my back and falls asleep on my shoulder, I then walk over to Charlie's side of the car. If I could carry him I would buy I know he'd want me to put our children first. "Wake up darling, we're here." He grumbles and then opens his eyes. He sleepily gets out the car and I lock it, I take his hand in mine and we walk inside. I lead him upstairs and he takes one look at the room and gasps, "Nicholas I told you not to book something to expensive !" Charlie hits my arm and I laugh. "Baby, I didn't pay for this." He looks at me confused, "w-well then who did ?" He asks, "the London-boy band" I smile, he sweetly giggles and we walk into the room, making sure to lock ur behind us. I lay Avery on a nice bed that was arranged for her especially and I place river in the carry-around cot next to me and Charlie's king size bed, I tell Charlie to sleep and while he does I pack everything away. After I'm done I look at my phone and it's around 3, I sigh and realise I have to go to sleep now as the audition is at 1:30 tomorrow afternoon, I switch off the lights and change into some boxers, I get into bed with Charlie and kiss his head, "goodnight sweetheart."

Charlie Nelson:

This morning is the day of nicks audition for London-boy band, their a famous world wide band who travel and preform, and nick will be singing. I love nicks singing voice, i didn't know he was that good of a singer until one day I walked in on him singing in the kitchen and I was in instant awe. "Morning baby." I stroke nicks hair out his face and he grumbles, "WHAT TIME IS IT ?" He shoots upwards startling me, "Jesus nick ! It's 9:45." He buffs and puffs trying to regain his breath. "What happened there." I say rubbing his back, his breathing increases and he puts his hand on his heart. I soon realise what's happening. "Shit ! Nick did you pack ur meds with you ?" I asked panicked. "L-l-left side of the d-d-draw." I rush over to the draw and grab his pills, "take these baby." I hand them too him and he swallows them instantly, I place my hand on his heart and he holds onto it, "copy my breathing nicks." He looks at me and his breathing slows, "there we go, atta boy." I slowly stroke his hair and he finally calms down. "What happend ?" I asked, "I-I don't know I guess I'm just worried about today." I smile and cup his face, "baby your gonna do great, me, Avery and River have so much hope in you. And even if you don't get the job, we will all still be here with open arms." He slightly smiles and I grasp him into a hug, "you'll do so good hunny." He inhales in my shoulder and I rub his back. "Go get in the shower and get changed, we'll leave in about 2-3 hours, I'll get started on breakfast." He nods and walks into the bathroom. I walk into the luxary kitchen and look around, this could be our life soon, I smile as Avery walks into the kitchen with river in her arms. "Oo careful baby !" I exclaim, gently taking the baby out her hands, "good job baby sitting though !" She smiled and I handed her a plate of bacon and eggs, "Thankyou dad." I ruffled her hair and she walked out. Nick came out the bathroom in very smart clothes. "Oh my god." I muttered as he got closer to me, "we having trouble staying focused Charles Nelson ?" He smirks, I get flustered and turn back around ti face to the kitchen wall, he slithered his hands around my waist, "dont ignore me" we whispers, I gulp and he chuckles, "this smells beautiful baby, thank you." He takes the plate from the side and kisses my head, he then walks out. "Your daddy is gorgeous." I whisper to River.
