03| Jealousy

"Finally finished it!" Aarushi said as she closed her laptop and slumped on the couch.
"Done with your presentation" Yash asked as he sat besides her.
"Yup but I swear this was one of the hardest presentation I ever made"
"Ofcourse, after all you working for 'K Groups', you will have to give your best every single time. But I still can't believe that you are already working and that to in 'K Groups' like weren't you a small kid just a few months ago"
"Oh hello! Just to remind you we both are of the same age"
"That doesn't change the fact that you would always depend on me. I would legit feel like I was raising a child"
"Oh really, then what about those times when I would save you from the teachers and uncle. Did you forget about how you would hide behind me from uncle everytime we would get our report cards"
"Ok I'm sorry! Let's end the topic now"
"Hmm that's why you shouldn't mess with me. Anyways why are you dressed up so early, its like 9 in the morning"
"I have some urgent work to finish, I'll be back soon"
"Come on yaar, didn't you say we would go out today"
"I'm really very sorry, but you know what, I enquired at the reception and they told me they have many place for tourist so why don't visit those and tomorrow for sure I will accompany you"
"Ok fine but if you don't I will tell uncle that you were the one who crashed his favourite car because you wanted to take your girlfriend on a date and that person 'Ankit' who would call you late at nights was actually Ankita"
"You're the meanest person I have ever seen like if devil was a person it would have definitely been you"
"Well tell me something I don't know" Aarushi said
"I really hate you" Yash said as he grabbed his phone and left the room
"I hate you too" Aarushi yelled from the room.
"Ahh I'm alone again. I guess a quick walk would freshen me up" Aarushi said to herself as she changed in some casual clothes and took an elevator for the ground floor.

"Hi can I get the brochure for the tourists place near here" Aarushi asked the recieptionist.
"Yes ma'am, here it is" she said handing out a booklet "we also provide transport facilities to all the tourists spot so if you ever need them you can inform us"
"I will surely do that" Aarushi said as she left with the brochure in her hand and sat on one of the couches in the café.

"Aarushi" she heard someone call her name as she turned around to see the person
"Siddharth" she exclaimed "Oh my god! It's been so long since I last saw you " saying so both of them shared a hug

On the other side
"Ok boys since we'll be leaving for the Australia tour after 2 days, today y'all are free to do anything you want. So make the full out of these two days because once we arrive in Australia nobody is getting any day off" the coach of the indian team said as he left the room
"Finally!" Rohit sighed as he fell back on the bed "All I'm going to do in these 2 days is sleep"
"Me too" Virat joined
"I know right, this IPL season was one of the most tiring ones" Shreyas added
"Come on yaar! Y'all can't sleep now. We are in Hyderabad there's so many things to do here, you can't tell me all you are gonna do is sleep" Ishan said as he tried to pull Rohit and Virat out of the bed.
"Exactly and did y'all forget we need to attend Siddharth's party in the evening"
"Oh shit it totally skipped off my mind " Rohit said
"Alright the how about we go out now, get some gifts for the evening party, have some lunch outside and then comeback"
"Ok Mahi bhai" all of them yelled in unison as they left for their rooms

"So are you still into Cricket" Siddharth asked
"Ofcourse and all of the credit goes to your Dad, hadn't he introduced me to cricket I would had missed out alot" Aarushi replied
"So I guess that you are in this hotel is because you attended the IPL finals"
"You guessed it right and you know what's the best thing I even got to meet the entire RCB team" She said happiness clearly visible in her voice
"So do you want to meet them once again" he asked
"Why are they your relatives that you can just take me to their house and I'll meet them" she replied sassily
"Well you can say that, after our company became the team's biggest sponsor I would attend the team meetings on regular basis, gradually I came close to the entire team and now you can even call us best friends"
"You're not lying, are you?" she asked in a questioning tone
"Well how about I prove it to you. Today I'm having a party in the evening, all of them will attend so why don't you join us"
"Have you crazy, why will I join a party where all of them are going to be there"
"Listen it's not a formal party, since my birthday is after a week but I won't be in India by that time so I decided to hold to celebrate with my friends here. Had I known you were in India, you would be the first person to get the invite for the party. And before you say that they might get uncomfortable let me tell all of them know many of my friends other then them are attending the party so don't worry about that. Just attend the party with me"
"Ok fine I'll attend it" Aarushi said "so now give me the invite"
"You want an invite even after the host of the party himself is asking you to come"
"Ofcourse, what if I come to the party and the guards there say "Ma'am you can't enter without the invite, I'm sorry but you have to leave" she said
"Well then you can just call me and I'll come there any say "how dare you stop the most important person of my life, do you want to get fired" he said dramatically
"Oh so you want to play the hero, haan!"
"Acha just forget about that I'll give you the invite later on. Are you free right now?"
"I am, why are you asking that"
"Great! I need to get a few things so come with" he said while dragging Aarushi with him
"Ok I'll come but atleast let me get dressed . Look at what am wearing now"
"You look awesome so just come with me" he said as he grabbed the car keys and left with her.

Now what they failed to see was a jealous Shubman staring at them with his fists clenched.

"Shubman" he heard some yell right in his ears
"What" he said coming out of his trance
"Literally the entire team was calling you, where were you lost" Rahul said as he tried to see if there was someone familiar person around that made Shubman stare at
"Ah it's nothing. Let's go" Shubman said as he rushed towards the cars waiting for them
"What was that feeling. Was I really jealous just by seeing her with someone else" he said to himself as he sat in the car.
