It was the first match of the Australian tour, after losing the first practice match, the Indian team went on to win the other two matches with some player showing exceptional performances. Finally they could say that the team was ready to take on the mighty Australians.
"Alright boys" Virat said "I want everyone to give their 100 percent on the field just like we did it the last two matches. We have to make sure that everybody who criticised us for losing the first match gets their mouths shut with our performance today. So are y'all in it"
"Yes captain" the team answered
"That's the spirit! And Shubman, in the last match you played an amazing inning of 87 runs but today i want a complete century from you" Virat said teasingly, as everybody had a good laugh at it. Soon their short, 'full of motivation and teasing' team meeting came to an end. Most of the players went back to calling up their families who weren't present at the moment to cheer on them while others who had their partners accompany them to the stadium started to chat with them. A few players decided to take a quick shower before the game started. Virat on the other hand along with Rohit and M.S were talking about whether to field first or bat considering the pitch conditions.

"Hi guys" was a sudden voice in the dressing room that caught everyone's attention.
"Siddharth" Virat said in a shocked voice as they weren't expecting him "how come you are here today"
"Actually dad was supposed to have a meeting with the board members today, but he got caught up with some other business so I decided to come instead"
"That's great, we have one more family member to support us now" Rohit said
"Well y'all actually have two. I bought someone with me to cheer for the team" Siddharth said as he moved a bit towards his left revealing Aarushi who was hiding behind him from the beginning.
"Aarushi" it was Anushka who exclaimed as she side hugged her"its so good to see you again"
"How did you manage to make it here" asked Aathiya while the happiness of having her was evident in her eyes.
"Actually I had a meeting with a company over her two days ago luckily in the end the meeting was successful, so everybody who was working on the project got a 2 weeks off so I decided to come here"

"Aj toh Shubman pakka century marega" (Today Shubman is definitely going to score a century) Ishan whispered to Surya who was sitting besides him
"Mujhe toh lagta aaj hamari batting bhi nahi aayegi, kisiko impress karne ke liye Shubman pura not out khelega"( I think we won't even get a chance to bat today as Shubman will definitely remain not out to impress a particular someone) Surya whispered back as both of them let out a small laugh.

"You did good by coming here. We were actually talking about you yesterday" Rohit said as everyone in the room was shocked due to the sudden revelation.
"Talking about me" Aarushi questioned
"Actually we were talking about how great Siddharth's party was and how everyone enjoyed it, in the end the topic ended on how we made a new friend which is you" Mahi explained as Rohit felt the glares that were on him turn away, letting him take a sigh of relief.
"You know what Aarushi, come with us. The match is going to begin very soon. Let's sit back and enjoy the view till then" said Ritika as she held Aarushi by her hand walking her towards the door. Just as they were about to leave there was an angry voice who was practically yelling a certain name.

"Ishan yaar, tune firse mere kapde chupa diye kya?"(Ishan did you hide my clothes again) was the voice they heard.
Aarushi who was almost near the exit door turned around as she was curious to find who had the ability to yell this loud early in the morning. She turned back only to find a guy standing almost 2 meter away from her. His back facing towards her as he stood practically half naked with just a towel covering his lower body. His drenched hair and the drops of water on his back were enough to indicate that the man had just come out of a shower.
"Yaar jaldi de, match abhi shuru ho jayega. Tujhe pata hai na woh meri lucky jersey hai" (Give it back quickly, the match is about to start soon. Also you know right that is my lucky jersey) he continued speaking to Ishan
"Peeche dekh" (look behind) Ishan said in the most secretive way he could
"Kya bol raha hai" (What are you saying) the man asked confusingly
"Peeche dekh" Ishan tried again
"Areh itna dhire kya bol raha hai, jor se bol na" (Areh why are you speaking in such a low voice, just speak loudly)
"Shubman, peeche dekh" (Shubman, look behind) Ishan almost yelled as Shubman finally turned around.
His eyes widened, as he could feel his heart drop and the sudden coldness rushing in his body. The girl who he was crushing on for the last few days was literally standing in front of him, her eyes widened in shock due to scenario in front of her.
Oh what sins had he committed for him get embarrassed right in front of his crush that to in the most inappropriate way.

"Let's go quickly or we won't get the front seats" Aarushi literally announced as she took some quick step towards the exit followed by the others.
Immediately after the girls left the dressing room, Shubman slumped on the chair besides Ishan, processing everything that happened in the matter of few minutes.
"See Shubman, don't be disheartened. You know na girls these days like boys who take care of their body and are fit. I'm pretty sure she must be rather impressed" Ishan said trying to comfort Shubman as he just stared blankly at him the whole time
"Its not working Ishan" Surya quietly whispered against Ishan's ear, while the rest of the team stood there trying their best to hold the laughters.
"Argh why out of all the people it was me who was embarrassed in front of her" Shubman yelled dramatically as the laughters that being suppressed were released.
"Haslo bhai, aap kya hi janoge mera dukh" Shubman said as he looked at all him brothers laughing
"Oi ye nautanki band kar aur sun meri baat, first of all she is a cricket fan, which means she reads all the articles and it won't be a surprising if she has seen all your shirtless pictures which made upto the headlines and secondly if want her to forget the embarrassing moment of today, then impress her. Hit a century today with all your best shots in it. I can assure you she will definitely be impressed by that" Mahi said
"Trust me Shubman this will definitely worked" Ishan encouraged him
"Tu toh kuch bol hi mat, hadn't you hid my clothes I wouldn't be embarrassed in front of her" Shubman said
"Oh god again, trust me yaar I didn't hide them"
"Then were did they go"
"Shubman did you forget, you ironed your jersey and left it on the table" Virat said pointing towards a table in the corner of the room.
'Shit' was the only word Shubman could think.
"Ok alright now everybody listen, the toss is beginning, as per our discussion we will opt to bat first if we win the toss, so everyone make sure y'all are ready before I come back" Virat said as he left for the toss. Shubman got up and grabbed his t-shirt as he went back to get changed. Soon after he got back, Ishan informed him that they were batting first. Shubman being the opening batsman, quickly grabbed his gloves, guards and helmet along with his bat. Putting on his guards and gloves, he grabbed his bat and started walking down the stairs that led to the ground.
"Just wait Ms. Aarushi, today you are going to witness one of the best century that has ever happened in the cricketing history" Shubman mumbled to himself as the confident smug was all over his as he entered the ground.

I know I'm updating almost after a month but I was really busy with all the verification procedures since I'll be leaving for my new journey mid March, it's really difficult to pack your entire life of 22 years in those three bags and move to a totally different country, also I've been catching up with all my relatives and friends whom I probably won't be seeing for a long time now, so yeah it's been a pretty busy month till now.
