AMY SAT AT HER DESK with her arms crossed, staring at the whiteboard. She couldn't believe this was happening again. She didn't think she would have to deal with Yates, but there they were— trying to find him.

Jay was worried about Amy. Especially since she had a history with Yates, being one of his victims. He didn't know how this would affect her. She told him she was fine, but he was keeping an eye out.

Antonio stood by the whiteboard. "Greg Yates escaped custody last night in upstate New York after killing two state troopers, two ConElectric workers, and a camper and shooting Sergeant Dodds. Dodds will make a full recovery, thank god."

"And Yates?" Adam asked.

Jay glanced over at him. "Pennsylvania troopers found a pickup truck abandoned on a state road. State forensics lifted Yates' prints, and a motorist there ID-ed Yates as pretending to have car trouble and knocking him out to take his car."

"He repeated the pattern in Ohio and Indiana," Antonio added. "The last vehicle brought him to the Illinois border. Crime lab confirms Yates' prints, but there's no leads after that."

"Yeah, except one." Hank went over to the whiteboard, pointing at the note. "Amy. The reason Yates is here."

Amy didn't want to believe this to be true because she didn't know how to cope with the thought of him going after her again. "He's just trying to get in our heads. We put out a BOLO investigative alert and Amber Alerts on the vehicle. Troopers are watching every highway coming into Chicago."

"New York SVU is questioning Carl Rudnick," Antonio informed them. "The guy Yates escaped with, who's back in custody. Lieutenant Benson will be in touch when they have anything to report."

"Well, till then, I want us on every transient hotel, shelter, and food bank in the city. Remember, this guy will kill again or maim to get what he wants. And flag the credit cards of the vehicle owners." Hank then turned to Antonio. "See if there was a safe haven he used last time he was here. Now let's get on it."

Hank went to his office.

Jay approached Amy, and she knew what he was going to ask her. "I'm fine."

"Okay," he nodded. Jay knew she would talk to him if something bothered her, so he didn't push it. "So, I'm going to run with the carjack victims. See if he grabbed any phones."

"Okay, thanks." Jay went to his desk.

Hank asked Amy and Antonio to his officer before she could sit down.
