Olivia's povLessi's birthday was tomorrow and I had a massive surprise for her.
Since we first got together, we've always spoken about our future.
We both had the exact same things in mind. We would be married, we'd have children, a little, fluffy dog.
Me and less wanted children, we've always said we wanted children but due to our jobs, it was always hard. And anyway, we are both so young and we've got no experience as parents. We've always said that the time will come when it feels right.
But, to gain experience, I thought we'd become doggy mummies.
I had bought less, and me, but mainly less for her birthday, a cavapoo puppy.
She was adorable, she was from a breeder fifteen minutes away from Manchester so after training, I had been frequently going over to see her.
Tomorrow morning, on less' birthday, I was finally going to see her and bring her home.
Ironically though, less had been mentioning getting a dog recently but she still had no clue.

"Happy birthday, baby." I whisper as I press small kisses to less' face.
"Thank you, livvy."
"You stay here, and I'll make you breakfast, I won't be long." I tell her as I press final kiss on her lips.
————————
I make less breakfast and a coffee, putting it on a tray along with a card and a jewellery box with a necklace in. The necklace had a small diamond heart.
I head back upstairs and see less propped up against the headboard on her phone."Loads of birthday messages?" I ask
"Loads." She asks and I hand her the tray.
"Oh, baby. You didn't have to." She says as she picks up the box and the card.
"Of course I did, lessi." I kiss her head
"It's beautiful, my love. Thank you so much." Less leans over and kisses me
"You deserve the whole world, baby. The least I can do is get you this." I tell her and she kisses me again.
————————
"I'm so sorry I've got training, baby. I won't go if you don't—" I begin
"—No, livvy. We've been through this so many times. You go to training. You have to. I'll see you afterwards. Now go, you're gonna be late." Less cuts me off
It was a complete lie. I wasn't going to training, instead I was going to pick up our fur baby.
My first stop though was the pet shop to buy everything I needed.
