Olivia's povWhen the team's coach pulled up at two the next afternoon, I was sat with Maisie and lottie next to me in their car seats.
The first person I saw was G. She was running into the lobby towards us.
"There they are." G smiles as she continues to run towards us
"Hi, G." I open my arms, thinking she was coming to hug me.
Instead, she completely ignores me and crouches down to see the girls.
"I've missed my two little best friends." She says
"Umm, excuse me? What about your all time best friend?" I ask, pretending to be offended.
"Who? Leah?" She looks up at me and sends a cheeky grin.
"I can't believe you sometimes." I shake my head, jokingly, as she stands back up.
"Hi, livvy." She hugs me
Most of the girls start coming in from the coach too. They all hug me and smile at the girls, most of them crouching down and rubbing Maisie and lottie's tummies or something cute.
The last two to come through the doors were less and Ella.
They were both laughing as less pushes Ella in joking matter.
"Hi, baby." I smile widely as I see less.
"Livvy!" Less exclaims and runs to hug me. "I missed you so much." Less admits as she buries her head in my neck.
"I missed you too, baby. The three of us did."
"I love you saying that. The three of you." Less presses a final kiss to my cheek before kneeling down to see Lottie and Maisie. "Hi, babies. Were you good girls for mama? Oh, I missed you two so much."
"They were. We went on loads of walks together and they came to see the pitch whilst I trained." I tell her
"I'm so proud of you, baby." Less comes up and hugs me again.
"For what?"
"For training again. Well done, my love."
"It won't be long until I can start playing again." I smile as she kisses me
"I cant wait. Just imagine. We'll be playing together at the emirates with our girls in the crowd." Less says and I rest my head on her shoulder as we hug.
"I can't wait either."
————————
We went up to our room and less immediately picked Lottie and Maisie up. She laid them both on her chest and they both melted into her, fast asleep.
"Come lay down, baby." Less whispers to me as I start organising the girls clothes.
I put all the clothes down and immediately lay on the bed, resting my head on lessi's shoulder. We just stay like that, looking at the girls, for a good couple of minutes.
"You're so beautiful." Less breaks the silence as she looks down at me.
"So are you, baby. You are so beautiful, lessi. I can't believe you're mine." I smile and lean up to gently kiss her lips.
Maisie then starts crying and less starts rubbing her back and she stops.
"I don't think she likes us kissing." I joke
"Well I do, so she'll have to get used to it."
————————
After going downstairs to the relaxation room to see some of the team, we made our way back up to the room to put Lottie and Maisie to bed.
Once me and less were in bed, less slid her head on my chest and I kissed it gently.
"What are we doing for your birthday, baby?" Less asks
"I don't know, my love. You won't be here. You'll be in Adelaide for the match against China." I explain
"Come with us. The girls will be able to fly by then. The doctor said to wait at least three weeks and they'd be three weeks old by then." Less lifts her head to look at me.
"Okay baby. Well come with. I might even bring them to watch the match." I kiss her forehead as her smile widens.
"Really?"
"Yeah, of course. If we can get a place in the family and friends box, then definitely. It won't be loud there. Maisie and lottie will wear their Russo shirts, cheering on their mummy."
"I can't wait now." Less laughs and kisses me. "I'll make sure to try and score for the three of you."
"Thank you, baby, but we'll be so proud of you no matter."
