I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw zee standing at my doorstep. I was still groggy from my nap and didn't have time to react. He just walked in like he owned the place and plopped down on my couch. He looked huge on my tiny sofa, like a giant in a dollhouse. He didn't say a word, just stared at me with a goofy look on his face. I was too stunned to say anything.

"Please don't do this to me, Nhu. You know I don't love her. I love you." He pleaded, his eyes sparkling with emotion. "We barely know each other, Mr purk. This is crazy." I tried to reason with him. "Why do you call me Mr purk? Aren't I your hia? ." He frowned, looking hurt. "I'm sorry, I just... I want a quiet life. No drama." I said, avoiding his gaze. "I can give you that. Trust me. Tomorrow, I'll tell everyone at the party that I'm breaking off the engagement." He said, grabbing my hand. I stroked my cheek and a kiss there.

"Trust me, my angel . I'll make it public, I swear, I'll make the reporters are even there" Zee whispered in my ear. I felt a surge of hope and doubt at the same time. How could he be so sure? How could I be so naive? But his embrace was warm and comforting, and I couldn't resist snuggling closer to him.

As he promised, zee broke off his engagement with Anna the next day and the media went wild. "Anna was expecting a ring, but zee gave her a slap in the face instead" one commentator said. "He didn't give any reason for calling it off, but we all know it's because Anna kept accusing him of cheating on her with someone else." another added. "Maybe their whole relationship was just a publicity stunt to begin with" a third speculated.

"Can you believe that they were engaged for only two weeks and then broke up?" The reporter asked with a smirk. "It was obviously a publicity stunt to boost their ratings. I mean, come on, they barely knew each other and they never looked happy together."
"And what about the rumors of zee's affair?" The reporter continued. "Do you think there's any truth to that? Or was it just another way to create drama and get attention?"

It's been weeks since that incident Zee and I have been careful with our relationship . We don't want to rush things or make any mistakes that could jeopardize our future. As a rising idol, I have to be mindful of my image and the media. That's why we only go on dates in private places, where no one can see us or spread rumors about us.
I don't want people to think that I only made it this far beacuse Im with the Ceo.
We cherish every moment we have together, but we also respect each other's boundaries and goals. We're taking it slow, but we're happy.
