"Lukotico left the elephant in the stable and went to the tavern to ask for something to eat. Upon receiving a couple of plates full of food, he went up to his room, where he let Giorgi out to eat something. Giorgi seemed very nervous when he came out, and Lukotico didn't know why. After eating, he put Giorgi back and both of them went to sleep. The next morning, Lukotico went down to the tavern to speak with Francisco to ask for permission. He wanted to go talk to that boy. Francisco gave him permission to take the elephant with the condition that he should go slowly, as elephants get nervous with speed. He went to the stable, cleaned and fed the elephant. Since neither Francisco nor Barbara had named him, he decided to baptize him as Naranjito. When he finished, he climbed on it, and they headed towards the market. It was morning, so there were quite a few people. He got off at a fruit stand and bought several baskets of oranges and bananas. He got back on the elephant and continued on the way. The boy wasn't in the same location as the day before; this time, he had moved. He was at one of the beds in the inn, feeding one of the children. Lukotico parked the elephant to the side and jumped off.Lukotico had a secret weapon, which was Giorgi. He was capable of sensing the auras of luminescents, so he could easily locate them. Stealthily, carrying the basket of oranges, he approached the boy. At first, it seemed as if the boy was avoiding him, but finally, he turned around."Good morning, sir. I'm Gonzalo. Can I help you?" said the young man.Giorgi moved energetically in Lukotico's pocket, signaling that the boy was a luminescent."The truth is, yes, I'd like to donate this basket to the inn. Could you tell me where to leave it?" asked Lukotico."Of course, follow me," said the young man."I'm Lukas, by the way," affirmed Lukotico."A pleasure, Lukas. In this inn, we survive thanks to donations. The state hardly gives us anything, and there are more and more hungry children. It's a pity, really," explained the young man."Forgive me for asking, but how old are you?" asked Lukotico."Sixteen," affirmed the young man."Is any of them your brother?" asked Lukotico."I have a brother named Berto. He's a bit younger than me. Our parents died in the Winter War, so I only have him," explained Gonzalo."I'm sorry to hear that," Lukotico offered his condolences to the young man."Thank you," Gonzalo thanked him."I want to tell you something, you are a very special kid. Hasn't anyone told you that before?" said Lukotico."Thank you very much. Occasionally, some mother looking for her lost child, finding them here in the inn, tells me that," recounted Gonzalo."The truth will be revealed," affirmed Lukotico.Gonzalo pointed to a man with a bag."There it is.""Thank you very much.""Goodbye.""Goodbye."Lukotico approached the man and handed him the oranges. He didn't ask any questions, just opened the bag, placed the oranges inside, and closed it again. After leaving the oranges, Lukotico turned around and headed towards Gonzalo."Gonzalo, wait. I have to tell you something. I work in a tavern, so when you need food, come there, and I'll give you food, some cooked, and if you want, I can also teach you to take care of animals. Your brother can come too. What do you think?" invited Lukotico."Thank you, we'll do that," the young man thanked."Until then, goodbye."Lukotico left the inn and went towards the elephant when he saw Gonzalo running towards him, holding something in his hands."I think this belongs to him. He seemed as if he were trying to tell me something all the time. What kind of creature is this? I've never seen it," said Gonzalo."Thank you very much for bringing Giorgi to me. He's a very special creature and knows how to find special people. He comes from where I come from. When you come to the tavern, I'll tell you more about him," promised Lukotico."Perfect."After saying goodbye, Lukotico got on Naranjito, and they headed back home where Barbara and Francisco were waiting for them. When he got off the elephant, they asked him,"How did it go?" asked Francisco."Fine, he didn't cause any trouble," said Lukotico."My Francisco has taught you well," said Barbara."There's something I wanted to tell you," Lukotico began saying."Yes, anything," responded Barbara."There's a boy named Gonzalo, from an inn, without parents, and with a brother named Alberto, feeding many children. I offered them to come to the tavern occasionally to give them some food and help Francisco with the elephant, which, by the way, I've named Naranjito. Do you both agree to these things?" said Lukotico."Of course, we always try to help in the village. The fortunate ones must help the less fortunate so that they have the same opportunities as the rest. If at any time you want to adopt them, don't hesitate, we welcome them as our own children," said Francisco."Thank you for everything, that's what I'll do."Lukotico went up to his room and placed Giorgi on the bed, asking if Gonzalo was a luminescent. Giorgi nodded, affirming that what he said was true. Lukotico fell asleep more peacefully, knowing that he had finally found the first luminescent. This gave him more strength to continue searching for the rest of them."
