After changing and creating a secret compartment in his clothing so Giorgi would be comfortable, he began his journey towards civilization. He descended from the mound with several leaps and headed quickly towards the first enclosure to find out what that structure hid. Upon arrival, he saw that they were a kind of stables where the Samiz kept their elephants. In front of them were some cabinets where they stored the attire for those large animals. Lukotico was surprised by the voice of a Samiz who asked him:— Child, have you lost your way? — the man asked.
— Perhaps — Lukotico replied.
— Where do you wish to go, young one? — the man asked again.
— I was looking for a place to sleep tonight, and if possible, a job to sustain my stay — Lukotico said.
— It seems you've found the right person. My wife and I have a tavern with a hostel above it where you can stay as long as you like. I offer you work, my wife can't handle serving so many customers, and I'm busy looking after Trompi, my elephant. — the man told him.
Lukotico thought it over but decided it was a good offer and it would give him some independence to search for a Lumínico in the kingdom of the horns during his free time.
— I accept. By the way, what is your name, noble sir? — Lukotico asked.
— My name is Francisco, and yours? — Francisco replied.
Lukotico realized his name was too strange to belong in this world, so he quickly thought of a name that could camouflage him.
— My name is Lukas, I come from a very distant place — Lukotico said thoughtfully, struggling with the lie.
— Pleasure to meet you, Lukas. It doesn't matter where you come from as long as you contribute to the kingdom. Come with me; I'll introduce you to my wife, Barbara. — the man said happily.
