As they left the castle, Berto and Gonzalo were waiting for them along with all their animals. Lukotico was still incognito as the general, so no one recognized him, but Mafalda did. She approached them.

"Good afternoon, Mafalda. Have you finally decided to come?" asked Berto.

"It seems so. I came with Lukotico, but I don't know where he's disappeared to right now."

"He must be transforming," Gonzalo speculated.

"Could be," Mafalda agreed.

"I'm sorry, we haven't introduced ourselves yet. I'm Berto, and this here is my brother Gonzalo. We're from the Horn Kingdom."

"Interesting. What are your future plans?" inquired Mafalda.

"Has Lukotico mentioned the prophecy to you?" asked Berto.

"He's mentioned something about us being the chosen ones or something like that, but I still don't know what purpose it serves," replied Mafalda.

"According to Lukotico, we must go to each of the kingdoms to find the rest of the chosen ones," explained Gonzalo.

At that moment, Lukotico approached them.

"Welcome to the family, Mafalda. Have they introduced themselves?" he asked.

"Yes, thank you. I just wanted to say that I'll accompany you, but I have one condition: that I can bring my pet, Ala Bateada, and her two young offspring. She's like a daughter to me," requested Mafalda.

"Of course, everyone here has their own pet," confirmed Lukotico.

"Perfect, I'll call her then."

At that moment, Mafalda emitted a long, sharp whistle, and several seconds later, three golden griffins appeared in the sky, landing beside them. The largest one, presumably Ala Bateada, lowered her head toward Mafalda's.

"Alright, let's get going then," said Mafalda.

"Okay," the three of them replied in unison.

They all began their journey toward the nearest taxi to go to the Horseshoe Kingdom.

Upon arrival, they received instructions from the driver and all got into the taxi. After several hours of travel, they finally reached the Horseshoe Kingdom. The landscape was spectacular and exotic at the same time. The entire kingdom consisted of a vast plain and a small area of not-so-dense forest. In the plain, several horses could be seen grazing and moving around.

In the distance, the Emperor Ferro's palace could be glimpsed. A large, cheerful, green tower stood tall where several guards were stationed."
