/Okay so I just got the Bungou Stray Dogs Beast Book so I'm making this one shot with Beast AU. I know little of Mori's relationship with Atsushi so I'm just gonna make Mori nice ig? I'm doing this based on the stage play of Beast AU. enjoy! :) I'm gonna pretend that Chuuya was never chained up in Beast because that will mess up the plot! YEAH /

No one's POV:

Atsushi Nakajima was a boy loyal to Dazai Osamu, the Port Mafia. He wanted to make Dazai proud of him. But ever since Dazai died by committing suicide, he was a bit sad. Nonetheless, Dazai shortened his life so he could tell Atsushi and Akutagawa about the book. Atsushi knew deep down that was not entirely the case but he just ignored the feeling.

When Dazai died, Akutagawa was shocked about the new-found information but he was relieved that he died and that the revenge plan was finished. Gin basically hated her brother now so he felt a bit betrayed. But he grimaced in annoyance when he had to basically work with Atsushi.

Akutagawa was pretty chill with Atsushi because he remembered that if Atsushi didn't slip in that note about Gin they would have been the best of friends, maybe... but now he could be friends with Nakajima. So he decided to give this 'teamwork' thing a shot.

From Atsushi's perspective, he felt a bit betrayed that Dazai left him when he knew exactly what he was leaving Atsushi with. But nonetheless, these were Dazai's last wishes so Atsushi does attempt to do so. In the beginning, Atsushi saw that Akutagawa wasn't that trustworthy, at least in the beginning. Atsushi didn't trust Akutagawa much but he understood that Akutagawa was recovering from all of that. Atsushi knew because he was still recovering from everything. From Dazai, Kyouka almost dying, and lastly now knowing that there is a book that makes alternate universes. What more? 

After a while, Atsushi and Akutagawa set aside their differences and worked together. They had to make a secret collaboration. The only two people who knew about Atsushi and Akutagawa working together were Ranpo and Mori. Of course, Ranpo knew about their collaboration and their meetings but he didn't know what they were about. Ranpo for once, was stumped. Mori didn't know what the meetings were about but he supported Atsushi as long as he wasn't a Port Mafia traitor. Atsushi assured Mori, or his father that he wasn't a traitor. Mori helped them attend meetings without Chuuya finding out. 

Atsushi and Akutagawa have been meeting up in the Port Mafia base. After all, Chuuya was now the new Port Mafia boss. He didn't know about their meetings but he was a bit suspicious of Atsushi but he let it slide. After all, Chuuya knew that Atsushi was probably moving around in the Port Mafia. "The nerve of that Bos- Bastard!" stated Chuuya. Well, Chuuya was still adapting being the Port Mafia boss. He had one regret, He never got to kill Dazai himself like he said he would. He was quite annoyed that Atsushi was there when Dazai died but didn't do anything. But he was trying to cool his steam down so he calmed down a bit.

Atsushi and Akutagawa continued having collaborations and missions together when they had time obviously. Then they started catching feelings for each other. And soon they were together. Akutagawa was obviously over-protective of Atsushi, secretly of course, or else they would be found out. Then there was a problem, Fyodor was back in Yokohama. That was a big problem. Now there would be more fights and the Agency might catch on. Atsushi just hoped for the best.
