Dixie still looked at Seth and Zoë with a confused look. Seth had a look of concern, he knew he's not to explain forgotten memories but it's important for them, especially for Zoë.
"Uhm Anabelle.. the girl who came here today?" Seth explained,
"Yeah the one who left after the first movie? Brown hair with bangs, she had glasses?" Bree chimed in trying to put more depth in what Seth said,
"Oh, uhh.. its a little foggy but she said we were in the same class together. We talked a lot but I don't remember any of the conversations." Dixie explained,
Dixie wiped the blood off her nose. She lowered her head knowing she's probably in trouble. Seth took his glasses off and rubbed the bridge of his nose.
"What are we gonna do now? We probably won't know til Monday," Bree sighed,
" Well I say we wait. We can't go crazy right now, especially if most of us are stressed. " Zoë suggested,
As everyone was suggesting on what they should do, Seth got a notification on his phone. Cruz: Can you pick up some medicine for me, Seth?
Seth texted back.
Seth: After I go home, I'll do it. Good night.
Seth felt a vibration on his phone and placed his phone in his pocket. Seth looked out the window and sighed.
He interrupted the discussion, "Me and Dixie need to go home. Since she brought a literal stranger here, I don't think she's in the mindset to drive."
" Excuse me! I'm the best at driving!! " Dixie disagreed,
" It's best. We need to calm down, " Zoë said.
Seth nicely pulled Dixie by the shoulder and they both walked out, without saying goodbye.Seth started his car as Dixie looked out the window to see her car."We'll pick up your car before school," Seth said. Dixie was gonna say something but changed her mind. Seth started driving to the pharmacy for Cruz.
"Wow. You're being quiet. It's weird," Seth joked, trying to make her talk,
"Yeah, I'm just tired I guess.... Is it my fault that I can't remember nothing? It wasn't always like this." Dixie asked,
She always asked this question. Along with Bree and Cruz, she doesn't remember being controlled like a puppet. After the incident, all three of them have bad memories. Dixie being the worst. They also get sick often too.
"You know my answer, Dixie," Seth said,
"Yeah, 'We don't talk about the iNcIdEnTs, Dixie. Even if you don't remember, don't talk about them'," Dixie mocked,
"I don't sound like that, I'm more formal!"
"Yeah right, 'OI YOU! Don't make me hit'cha with the bloody paddle!'"
They both laughed. Seth finally made it to the pharmacy.
"Stay here, I'm gonna get the medicine. If you haven't died yet, I'll get you a Snickers," Seth told Dixie,
"Why can't I go?! " Dixie asked,
" Because you're gonna make the cashier think I'm friends with a murderer. I'm also being quick and you're the opposite of quick,"
As Seth closed the car door, Dixie muttered, "Rude." Seth rolled his eyes as he locked the car. Dixie turned on the radio and started listening and lip-syncing to the songs. It was dark outside with the light only being from streetlights, cars, and the pharmacy.
Dixie looked at her window. Instead of the constants cars passing by, it was a woman. She had brown hair with bangs and green eyes. She had headphones on and was staring at Seth's car. She started walking to the car. A wave of nervous and anxiousness went through Dixie like sun rays beaming on a hot day. The woman stopped 5 feet from the car. She looked like she was staring at Dixie. She knocked on the window nicely like a girl scout. Dixie paused the music and slowly unrolled the windows so she can see the girls brown hair.
"Do.. you need anything?" Dixie choked,
"Nope, I'm good. I'm sorry I bailed on you today," The girl apologized with no tone, as the girl said that, Dixie remembered,
"Uhm, Anabelle?"
"You remember me?"
Dixie unrolled the window to see Anabelle's full face. Anabelle looked a little relieved that Dixie remembered her. Anabelle's eyes locked on Dixie's. There was a little pause.
"Uh, did you steal the necklace?" Dixie finally asked,
Anabelle looked stunned, maybe even appalled that Dixie asked that, Anabelle sighed, "Listen, sit with me on Monday and I'll explain all of it. I need this amulet, Dixie."
"You stole it?! Anabelle we need that back! I'm gonna tell-"
Anabelle grabbed the collar of Dixie's sweater and pulled Dixie closer to her.
"YOU WON'T TELL A SINGLE SOUL. If you even utter a word to anyone, I'll tell them about Molly. I know what happened to her.. I also know what happened to you," Anabelle threatened,
"What?" Dixie muttered,
"I'll explain it all. I'm like that little birdie who tells you stuff. So, if you keep your mouth shut and sit with me, you'll get it all. Deal?"
Anabelle stopped grabbing on Dixie's sweater and opened her hand, getting ready to shake. She knows it all? She knows what happened to me. Hell, I need to know this. I'd probably benefit all of us. Dixie sighed and shook Anabelle's hand.
Dixie heard the car door close. She looked to her left, Seth got back in the car. Dixie panicked and looked back at Anabelle. She was gone. The car window was back up too like nothing happened. Dang, she's good at hiding, Dixie thought.
"As I see you aren't dead, here's your Snickers," Seth chuckled to himself and handed Dixie the candy bar. Dixie just stared at the Snickers, remembering everything that happened when he was gone. He started driving to Dixie's Place.
