Chapter 8: Shhh..

Seth woke up chained to a wall. It was dark which panicked Seth more. He was isolated. It reminded him of the summer. With the ... nevermind. It's not important, the thing that is important is the person putting their finger on my lip. Seth thought,
There was Dixie, looking terrified and 'hushing' Seth up. She didn't seem chained or have any kind of restraints. She's acting weird. Too weird..
"Uhm. Hi?" Seth asked trying to seem cool.
Dixie gasped and backed away. Is she shocked that I can talk? Seth thought to himself. "Calm down, calm down. You know me, Dixie? Why are you being weird?" Seth asked.
Dixie looked down and pondered for a second. She sat down with her legs over one another.
"I wasn't supposed to wake you up. Vi is gonna kill me," She whispered, her voice seemed more childlike,
"Wake me up? Are you okay? Do we need to call the cops?" Seth panicked.
Dixie's pupils got smaller as she shook her head violently left to right. Seth looked at her with even more concern.
As she continued, the door opened. The light from that entry lit 1/3 of the room. The person who opened the door was Levi but Seth didn't know that. Dixie turned to look at Levi as the light hit most of her body, Seth saw many differences in her.
Her green sweater was now a red jacket. The ends of her hair were black and so were her nails. Her hair was more wavy than Dixie's usual messy hair. Her nose was leaking black. She also wore the amulet.
"Aria, why are you talking to.. Seth?" Levi said it as if he didn't remember Seth's name,
"Aria?" Seth asked,
Aria and Levi looked at each other.
"HAH, now you have to explain it!" 'Aria' told Levi,
"No that's not how we made it, " Levi said,
"Yeah we did! When someone asks about a comment, the person who said the comment has to explain it!"
" What?" Seth asked, slowly losing his sanity,
" No because he probably asked a question while I wasn't here!" Levi explained,
"He didn't ask any questions because I was a good Dixie. Seth, was I a good Dixie?" Aria asked,
" You were decent. You could've made her more talkative and annoying, " Seth commented,
Levi sighed, "Just leave Aria, I'll explain it to him, "
Aria cheered as she walked away. Levi turned on the lights for the room and closed the door. Seth noticed that Levi also had the amulet around his neck.
"Okay so hi I'm Levi and that was Aria. Because of the amulet, we're shapeshifters. Weirdly enough, Aria doesn't really like her appearance so she shifts to everything else, while I'm the best so I keep my appearance. Does that make sense?" Levi explained,
Seth nodded and asked, "Okay so why did you guys take us and who has Zoë's amulet?"
" Zoë?"
His voice cracked as he said her name. Levi blushed and continued, "Anabelle has your guy's amulet. And well, the reason why you guys are here is for a deal."
"Anabelle? Deal?" Seth asked,
"F###, you're curious. Well Anabelle is our older sister and the deal.. you're not allowed to know yet, "
Seth looked down in disappointment. Maybe if I try to break down a barrier, Levi might open up to talk about the deal. But what to think about? Seth planned. Levi smiled and was about to walk away.
"Wait! Do you like Zoë?" Seth asked, Levi stopped walking and gripped the doorknob,
"Quiet, I don't want anyone else knowing!" Levi angerly whispered,
Levi sneakily closed the door and sat down across from Seth.
"Ugh, I guess you're right. She seemed interested when I first met her," Levi explained,
"Look at you of course she would love you," Seth sweet-talked,
"Thank you, I feel good about myself,"
He stood up and walked towards the door.
Seth looked appalled and asked, "Wait what?!"
"You made me feel better and I have an idea! Thanks, loser!" Levi said,
Levi turned off the lights and left the room, leaving Seth in the dark. Levi hummed to himself while walking to his room.
His room is more of a guest room than it being Levi's room. Since it been like a couple months since Levi returned. Anabelle didn't really prepared for much for all of this. Levi didn't care though, he was just happy to see his sister again.
On his bed was a bouquet of flowers. It had a white rope around it labeled 'For Zoë'. He was embarrassed to give to her but with Seth assurance, he probably could finally give the flowers to her and maybe she'll like it.
Maybe finally he won't get dumped on for the 1,000 time. Maybe someone except his family would actually love him. Maybe he can live a normal live with kids with Zoë. Maybe he could express his feelings for her. Maybe. Just maybe.
He grabbed onto the bouquet lightly. He didn't wanna break his flowers that are for his sweetheart. He walked out of the room and walked to where Zoë and Bree were. He gripped on the doorknob thinking of everything.
What if she doesn't accept it? That one thought made him feel like useless and unlovable. He felt he wasn't ready or even good enough for her. He stopped grasping the doorknob and walked away.

Later he threw the bouquet of flowers in the trash. Not ready for her love.
