Chapter 10: The Ideal For A Ending

"What are we doing love?" Zoë asked,
She had a rope tied around her waist instead of her whole body. Bree was also untied and looked at Levi and Zoë in confusion and probably thought Levi was stupid.
"Simple, I'll give you the amulet and you go back in time to save Cruz and Bree. When you're done, you tug the rope and we will pull you in. You might not see us when you wake up but we'll try our best! " Levi tried to explain with a smile,
" We?" Bree asked,
"Yeah, you are getting your hands dirty, deal with it,"
Levi tightened Zoë's rope. Bree grabbed the rope, ready to tug. He took off the amulet, revealing his actual body. His face looked mauled. His hair looked messier and his eye bags were deeper. Scars everywhere on his face.
"As I said, we won't be there when you wake up but just remember I love you," Levi said, trying to cheer Zoë up,
" Levi, I love you but I'm scared. I don't know if I can do this, " Zoë muttered,
"I know you can, just remember me please, "
Levi's voice was deeper and sounded like it was hard for him to talk. He wrapped the necklace around Zoë's neck, ready to fully cling it on.
"I love you, Zoë. My heart only goes for you," Levi promised,
" I love you more. Do you promise we'll date Levi? " Zoë asked,
" I'll try to remember sweetheart, "
As Levi was clipping on the amulet, he kissed Zoë on the lips. Zoë was shocked but she closed her eyes and embraced this love from her new boyfriend.

"In my personal belief, I think 'Across the Universe' is the best musical-like movie, " a voice said. Zoë opened her eyes. She was at her house. The rope was tied around her waist. It was her, Dixie, Bree, and Pepper, all having a sleeping over in her basement. Zoë remembers this night. Bree and Ella couldn't stay because they had things to do. Ella left super early.
"You're wrong Dixie, it's actually High School Musical," Pepper responded,
"That's why I said 'In my personal belief, '. I didn't even watch 'High School Musical', " Dixie said as she crossed her arms.
Zoë and Bree sat next to eachother while Dixie and Pepper were next to eachother, arguing over musical-like movies. Bree was texting her mom over when she will get picked up. She didn't say anything over her opinion. She probably thought that argument was stupid. It's obviously 'High School Musical'. Zoë believed.
"Guys I would really like to talk about musicals but my mom's near the road so I have to go," Bree sarcastically said,
" I'll go with you to make sure you get yourself inside of her car safely, " Zoë came up with,
She knew this is probably why Bree got bit. She was alone and her mom didn't come in time.
Dixie and Pepper said goodbye as Bree and Zoë went upstairs. Bree went outside as Zoë got her shoes.
Zoë went outside and saw Bree gone. No.. I'm too late. Zoë walked outside near her road to find Bree. She heard something rustling behind her. She turned around and she got stabbed in the back where her heart was. Zoë closed her eyes and screamed.

"Girl, you okay?" Zoë heard Dixie say,
"Obviously not! I got st-" Zoë said,
She realized she wasn't getting stabbed anymore. Everyone stared at her like she was crazy. She was back where she was, at the sleepover in her basement. This time, everyone was staring at her.
"Uhm I fell asleep and had a nightmare," Zoë lied,
"While standing up?" Bree chuckled,
Everyone giggled including Zoë.
Bree got a notification and said, "Crap, I gotta go. My mom is near the road. Bye y'all!"
"Well, can I make sure your okay and wait with you? " Zoë asked,
"Yeah sure whatever,"
Pepper and Dixie said goodbye again as Bree and Zoë went upstairs. Instead of going to get her shoes, she went on the wooden planks in her socks. Getting her socks soaked but saving a life.
She looked back at the rope around her waist. I'm ready to go home Levi. She tugged the rope. The rope didn't work. "THE ROPE LEVI. THE ROPE!" Zoë screamed. She felt a stab in heart again. She immediately grabbed the necklace and unclipped her amulet.

Zoë stood up from her bed this time. Her cat was on her chest before she heard Zoë gasp. Everything seemed normal. Even the amulet that was hung by the thumbtack.
Bree bursted into the room. She seemed scared and looked like she knew everything.
"Look at your phone Zoë," Bree whispered,
"What?" Zoë replied,
"Look on your stupid phone before I shove it in your face, "
Zoë looked at her phone. It wasn't charged last night. She saw the message from those stupid group chats. Recent messager was...
Molly.
Molly: hav u seen that new kid yet?
Cruz: nu, y whould i care?
Dixie: Because he's siblings with Annabelle and hasn't show up til now? Pretty suspicious.
Cruz: Whatever detective.
Molly was back.
