It has been four weeks since Will learned that his parents, Steve and Josie, are the world's most incredible superhero duo, The Commander and Jetstream.

Leah noticed that Will had been trying to exercise and working out, hoping to get super strength like their father.

She was outside in her and her brother's tree house, watching Will punching and kicking a boxing bag, but not much was happening.

' More like the boxing bag is beating up my brother,' She internally says.

Her eyes blinked when she sensed nervousness coming from behind her. She turned and heard the door floor knock and watched it open, revealing her and her brother's neighbor and childhood friend, fourteen-year-old Layla Williams.

" Hi, Leah," Layla greeted.

" Hey," Leah lazily waved and looked away to continue watching her brother humiliate himself.

Layla enters the tree house, closes the door floor, and walks towards Leah. She sits beside her and watches Will punching the boxing bag.

" Your brother told me that your parents are The Commander and Jetstream," Layla says while looking at Will.

Leah annoyingly rolled her eyes.

" Of course, he will blabber out to you first," She mutters.

" He's working hard because he doesn't want to feel left behind now that he knows his parents and even his grandparents are legendary Heroes," Layla said, looking at Will admiringly.

Leah gave Layla a look.

" I already know how he is feeling. You don't have to tell me, Layla," She says. " I can see, read, and feel peoples' emotions, remember," She stated.

Layla turns her gaze to Leah.

" Like how I know you have a massive crush on my brother. It's making me sick knowing how much you love my brother," Leah shivers.

" Seriously. You like Will of all people? Why?" She asked, looking at Layla in concern.

Layla blushes, getting embarrassed.

" You wouldn't understand," She sighed.

" You are speaking to the one with the power of Emotion/Empathy. Understanding people's emotions is my specialty," Leah smirked.

Layla looks at Will.

" Can you take people's feelings of love?" She asked.

Leah silently stared at Layla and then at Will.

" My Grandma has told me that she and I can take people's emotions away, but they can never get that specific emotion back. Which is why we don't do it," Leah says.

" I see," Layla nodded.

" Why did you ask that?" Leah asked with a raised eyebrow.

" I want to confess my feelings to your brother someday, but I'm scared he'll reject me. I don't know how I'll live with myself if he doesn't love me like I love him," Layla sighed.

Leah cringed.

" Layla," She says, putting her hand on Layla's shoulder, which causes the other female to look at her.

" You know us girls mature faster than boys, right," She states.

Layla nodded.

" Sure, you'll get your heart broken by Will when you tell him your feelings because he will only see you as a best friend," Leah admits.
